  1. Thank you all! The tv serie "Sailors" was my guide during the final assembly, thanks to Youtube
  2. Here we are!, the pictures are in RFI room, thank you all for the time spent following this build!!!! Now it's time to concetrate my attention on the FG1! http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47185 Ciao
  3. Hello! Here we are, this is my CMR Buccaneer S MK2 D as seen on HMS Ark Royal in 1978. Now it's waiting for its mate the FG1, the diorama base is still in progress, and will be more busy when the second aircraft will be in place. Comments and criticism are welcome! Dino http://www.webalice.it/d.carancini/buccaneer.html
  4. Thank you all for the encouraging replies! ..I did some work on commision, but I would never build another CMR Bucc! I'm one of the many that are waiting for the Trumpeter offer! Actually my Buccaneer sits on the Ark Royal deck, waiting for its mate the FG1, already on the bench, but just for preliminary cutting and sanding: flaps, airbrakes and belly auxiliary air intakes. I will will post more pictures of the Bucc on the deck once the figures will be on place! Cheers! Dino
  5. ...sometimes they come back... to finish what they started! ... since I didn't found any Ark Royal deck tractor, I built my own, then I casted it. ... and here some figures... ...next update will be on the Ark flight deck! Ciao Dino
  6. Hi Iain, I have the pilot notes, if you need them just drop me a line by PM. Ciao Dino

  8. Brilliant detailing work! Dino
  9. Thank you guys for the warm feedback! Finally it sits on its legs! I had some bad times, but I'm start loving this model
  10. Hello! I spent a lot of time for the cockpit, the CMR seats were very nice, but too large to be fitted offset, I had to rebuild them. Here are a few pictures of the office almost done, I used the Future to fix the detonating chords, this is a first time for me, but I'm really happy for the results, I was ready to use the spare canopy ... just in case. As always any comment criticism is welcome! Ciao! Dino
  11. Very nice Oz! It's always a pleasure to watch some new FAA model done, your builds are source of motivation to lower my FAA stock pile! The time is my enemy! Ciao! Dino
  12. Awesome!! I really like the paint work! Dino
  13. Hi Damien, you are right, the last photo exagerate it because of the particular perspective, but I checked it "live", and it seems that it points a bit down. I glued it as it was, and now it's too late Dino
  14. Hello Jack! Superlative photo! I missed that one during my researches. Having found nothing that could match the 697 Admiralty light grey, there is one in the White Ensign Models range but I can't send an order for just one can ..., I mixed an old Molak light grey 76 and the Humbrol flat white. I used both photos and colour charts http://www.ifspowdercoating.co.uk/bs_381c_colour_chart.htm to find what was for me the right color, it will change later after some shadows and lights. Here is a dry fit test of the wings, with a different light, the overall color is closer to the real thing. Ciao! Dino
