  1. 8. Make a shallow square hole up both the cuts, on and under the upper piece of the wing. 9. With a small piece of wire, make two hooks, which will be the axel of the flap. Glue them to the flap piece.
  2. 5. Fine both sides of the smaller pieces of the flap. 6. Make two little cuts on both sides of the flap space. 7. Sandpaper the cut to enlarge it a little.
  3. 4. This procedure is for both the upper and lower pieces fo the wing.
  4. In the topic I have created about the building of my Harrier GR7 I have promissed to explain how to build the deployable flaps, since some have shown interest on it. I have told then that I´d make a tutorial with drawings, but as I could manage to find an old Harrier AV-8B scrap (my 1st Harrier) I have decided to build the flaps as post the pictures of the process. Instructions 1. This is the wing, as it comes on the kit 2. Before uniting the upper and lower pieces of the wing, cut the flaps as shown below. 3. After cutting the flaps, use nail-file and stiletto to fine the board of the wing.
  5. No, my GR7 was an adaptation of the Monogram AV-8B. Despite enjoying this Revell kit a lot, I have realised that its mould is quite similar to the Hase one, which in my opinion doesn´t have a completely realistic shape.
  6. Finally somebody who shares my opinion! My friends here in Brazil say I´m mental for choosing some Mono kits instead of Hase ones. Another example is the Mono A-10 kit, which in my opinion has a more realistic shape than the Hobby Boss kit.
  7. Sure! I´ll post some instructions with drawings so you'll know exactly how it's done.
  8. hahahahahahahaha I enjoyed your comment We brazilians have many talents, but if my life depended on my football abilities, I'd be dead
  9. It is spinning, but it´s not powered... It spins when you blow on it. I just fixed the fan on an axle, as you can see on the picture. Smiffy, unfortunately when I made the flaps I didn't have a camera avaliable to take the pictures. If you wish, I could make a little tutorial with some drawings.
  10. Thanks for all the comments. Now to the answers...
  11. Hi everyone! My name is Paulo Regini and I´m brazilian. This is my first topic on Britmodeller. I´d like to post some photos of my RAF 3rd Squadron Harrier GR7. As you will notice not all the decals are correct since this Harrier was scrap and I had to use rests of other kits decals to "revive" it. The model is still unfinished. And please, forgive my english mistakes!
