  5. Hi all, right now I bought a Spitfire Ib made by AZ Models. Looking into instructions I realized that I should use smaller bulges on undersurface cannon bay covers than was standard on Vb´s. I mean, was the bulges on undersides on Ib different from those on Vb? Does anyone could please confirm that?
  6. It seems Wonderlandmodels already got it! http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/products/a...e-mk1a-special/ or am I wrong?
  7. Thanks Gingerbob and Steve... On the picture you can clearly seen covered holes on leading edge, but I wonder if the access panels on top and bottom for the removed mg`s remained...
  8. Hi all, I am looking for info or drawnings or picture of "cannon-only" wing. I supposed they were made simply by adding cannon to position of the "inner" machine gun, plus some teardrop pannels on top and bottom were added to cover the lagre cannon "body" and ammunition drums. The other access panels for MG left untouched, only the guns were removed and empty shell case chute were covered... Does anyone have any idea?
  9. Hi Nick, would be possible to place here some pics of the new "110" please? thks
  10. Sorry, but this is not 100% true...At least MH758 was with "C" wing, delivered on Dec.1946..
  11. Yes I did.. here are some pics from our SIG stand on that show: http://www.modelforum.cz/viewtopic.php?f=1...a&start=435

  13. Well, good news, lets hope "mark one" will be better than their "mark nine"... As far as I can see there are "rivets or fasteners" on cowling - good change against IX... but, little doubt about the windshield bottom line...
  14. The reason I am asking is, that all the czech sources states ALL Czechoslovakian Spitfires IX were LF IX E. I ask in other way: was it possible to make "E" wing with "C" armament configuration (i.e. with 2x20mm + 4x7,7mm) As far as I know, the E does not state the "armament" type but states for strenghtened wing adopted for bomb carriing.. Theoretically, in a lack of 12,7m guns could be possible to replace those with 4x7,7mm guns?
  15. Gentlemen, look at the picture pls.. This is a czechoslovak Spitfire IX of Air Academy, mid 46, believe to be MH750 or MH758, supposed to be with "E" wing. But, as can be clearly seen, it has "holes" for 4x 7,7 mm guns...No modification in Czech rep were made.... What do you guess?
