I am trying to source pictures and photos of 44 'Rhodesia' Sqn Lancasters ie the KM series. Of particular interest is nose-art, especially that of Sqn Ldr John Nettleton's (VC) KM-B R5508. Also, any such photographic/photo material of the two fighter squadrons 266 and 237 Any help greatly appreciated Ndege

I have validated the underwing stores, and these are relevant to the RhAF Hunter - ie SNEB and Sidewinder. I am still checking on the flaps. The main issue is cost. Hard times meant that I wasn't looking for a model to satisfy my enjoyment of the hobby. During a lunch break, I strolled into our local Model Zone, and saw the 1/32 Revell Mk 6 on offer at only £9-99 - that, together with my first hand experience of a Hunter in our war, was the decider!

Hi Les - I have just e-mailed a few ex-Rhodesian Air Force mates, and am hoping one of them may have the answer. I am sure you are aware that the RhAF operated B2s as bombers during the country's bush war.

I have started with a Revel F6, and wish to end up with an authentic as possible Rhodesian Air Force FGA9, but I obviously need a parachute fairing for the tail-pipe. Is anyone able to help?
