  1. I could do another thread building a P-51C & a P-51D from Hobby Boss, but I wanted to do something different. This is one of the Hobby Boss 1:350 submarine range, USS Los Angeles Class SSN-688. You can see that you can make 1 of 3 different boats of this class, but it gets better. You can actually make a full hull boat and a waterline boat from this one kit and that's what I hope to do. Here is a shot of my other submarines from this range.
  2. I like this kit too mate so I'm looking forward to watching this come together.
  3. Will be watching this with interest mate with the possibility to getting one of these myself.
  4. I saw that you'd finished this when looking through the gallery mate. A fantastic looking build, well done sir.
  5. I love the look of this aircraft and you're doing a cracking job of it.
  6. WOW! I've never attempted this as it looks way too complicated. I don't suppose you would make a video so we can see the process from start to scratch? Great work mate.
  7. Sorry I can't help with the wing angles, but to be honest I like the look of what you've got anyway.
  8. This is looking good mate and admire the fact that you are prepared to do all this work. With me I am happy to make older Airfix stuff, so long as all that is required is a bit more sanding and filling. There is a great sense of achievement when you add it to the shelf. Otherwise, needing an end result sooner than most due to lack of patience, I just make newer kits, including Airfix of course.
  9. That's really nice mate. Will you be using it for FOW by any chance?
  10. Thanks guys. Both finished now and in the gallery.

  12. I think I cheated when I made this kit. If I remember correctly,I didn't put the tracks all the way around so that it would sit properly. The track guard running along the top hid the fact the track wasn't there.
  13. It's your hobby mate. You build what you want, how ypu wsnt it and in a time scale you want. Looking good so far sir.
  14. You're making a lovely job of this mate and I'm tempted to get one now.
  15. That is looking the business mate.
