I'd like to join in on this one guys if I may? Last year the Mustang became my No.1 aircraft of WW2 (Possibly after visiting Duxford, replacing the much loved Mosquito) and I have been collecting P-51 kits like there is no tomorrow. I have 17 x 1:72 P-51's built so far and would like to take part in this GB. Cheers Deacon

This was a cracking GB. Well done everyone on producing some stunning builds. But, I think for me, Snappers daily input to threads and his encouragement is what made this GB so good. Thanks Mark. -

The Wiki page suggests that the Mk.VI used by coastal command used the 60lb, so you would be safe with the 25lb ones contained in the kit.

Does this help with regards to the wires sir, courtesy of wiki? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RP-3 The second photo in the Design section shows cables coming from the tail. Here is another photo that may be of interest courtesy of deviantart. http://simjoy.deviantart.com/art/rocket-111658329 Alan

Thanks for the heads up mate. Some of you may be aware that my mom passed away early April. I haven't been on a while to comment on the cracking builds that you guys are turning out, wonderful stuff. With the mojo slowly returning, I have managed to finish the second of these two builds. Here it is completed and there will be more shots in the gallery. Cheers Alan
