    This is a beautiful build mate. I appreciate this build even more as I am building one at present and I can't get the fuselage to close around the cockpit. Trying to get the three peices of the fuselage to match up is a night mare!

    Thanks for the information Mike. It is useful as I want to make other US ships in the 1:700 Tamiya range.

    It's been a while since I have posted anything and this is my first 1:700 build Sorry about the photography, I'm just no good at it. I am not sure whether I have the colour of the ship right with the colour of the aircraft. I had a problem with the wake. I used sealant to do the water, but my water based paint initially just beaded on the sealant Thanks for looking guys. Deacon.

    I was tempted by one of these kits a while back. I may have to try to get one now. It looks like you are using the same method for your 'sea' as I am attempting at the moment. This is a cracking build mate.
