  1. Great news, Terry has been in touch and Castoff are up and running again.
  2. Can you guys help me? Are Castoff still in business? I sent them an order 4 weeks ago and I can't seem to be able to contact them about it? Cheers Deacon
  3. Yep, sorry guys but I've been badgered to build a Lancaster. It will be built out of the box, I am OK to build it as the Tiger Force B.I variant aren't I? Cheers Deacon
  4. I've just read through the build thread and have to say it was a great read. Wonderful end result mate, very well done.
  5. Sorry guys for not getting back sooner, I've been ill with flu. Just wanted to say thanks for your responses. Now I just need to have a word with the bank manager!
  6. What a great thread. I really like it when modellers tie their builds to a particular aircraft for a specific reason. Looking so good sir.
  7. This is such a wonderful WIP and build mate. I'd love to have a Manchester in my collection some day.
  8. I too had to re-read as to exactly what you were blundering around with as I couldn't see anything on the build? Lovely work mate.
  9. Just catching up on your thread mate and have to say the PzII and the additions to the Shermans is just great.
  10. Thanks for your input guys. I want to my local hobby shop and bought Zvezda's T-90 for £20 and Tamiya's T-72 M1 for £25.00. There will be more added to the stash from the kits you have suggested as he had the Tamiya Cromwell and Centaur each for £20. Alan
  11. You achieved that finish with a rattle can? Well done sir.
  12. Thanks very much guys. Mike, I'm thinking that I'm not going to replicate the quality of those builds!
  13. Hell that was quick mate, thank you.
  14. A bit of a broad question I know guys, but with all the 1:35 stuff out there I want to make sure I buy something that looks good, builds nicely OOB and is reasonably priced. I usually build 1:72 stuff, but have been looking at the 1:35 AFV builds on here and elsewhere and I'm very tempted to try my hand at the larger scale. To make things even more difficult, I'm not really bothered as to what period or nationality either (not WW1 though). I tend to need projects that take no longer than a week to build and paint as my attention seems to wonder after 7 days. Any help, recommendations would be appreciated, especially if you yourself have built a kit and it falls into the categories mentioned (there is a lot of stuff on the net where reviewers say "This SHOULD build into a nice kit".) your personal experiences help a lot. Cheers Deacon
  15. I don't don't know what to add that has not already been said. You have produced a stunning build mate and it is awesome in every way. I would also like to add that the 'blanking' of the Swastika's does detract something from the build. Show them mate, if you don't mind, so that the model can be viewed just that little bit more historically accurate.
  16. I would struggle to make the kit let alone set it in a cracking dio like this! You can sit back and be justifiably proud of that mate. And well done to the missus too.
  17. I have the Tamiya Nelson and Rodney in the loft and after seeing yours I will have to get the wooden decking and brass. Lovely build mate, well done. Did you do a build thread by the way?
