Hi, Doc! Foiling looks very good! For further effect you can turn the pieces of foil 90 degrees for the different shades. Cheers Sergey

Is it me, or the nose cone is a bit off? Plus, the top line of the vertical fin is going too much up, is it not? Easy to correct though.. ALso the shape of the fairing in the root of the vertical fin seems to be wrong as well Cheers Sergey

Hi, Guys I have bought one today in Hannants in London The guys in the shop were still unpacking the delivery so I bought it straight away. At home I dry assembled the model and made few (35 actually) pictures. I thought it would give you a better idea and a chance for some critique. The pictures are here Hobby Boss Tornado IDS Cheers, Sergey

Hi, Mattie Bee! Very nice and detailed build!! I am not trying to critisize but I noticed that there is a huge step between the nose and the widnshield. Looking at the picture of the real plane on the page 5 one can see that there is no step and the nose and the canopy join together smoothly. Did you try to correct this? I guess that it would have been possible to sand the canopy on the back to make it sit a bit deeper towards the tail of the aircraft. It also seems to me that the windshilelds are little bit longer than on the pictures of the real ones.. But I might be wrong! In the end of the days you could this beauty in real life! But I still think that the gap should have been corrected.. Cheers Sergey

There is another model from Russian company ARK. It looks like it is a mix of Hasegawa and Airfix. http://scalemodels.ru/articles/1498.html General accuracy is very good, but the model is difficult in assembly, the fit is bad. Level of details is low.. But the price is about 7US$. I might try to build one using Aires cockpit, Falcon canopy and other aftermarket.. It still will be cheaper than to buils Hasegawa and easier than to rescribe Arifix... I might be wrong on that as well =)
