  1. It's a Hasegawa G4M2 Betty. I think you might agree that getting a replacement from them is pretty much a lost cause.
  2. Might be worth a try. I've never used it (I think it's called Johnson's Clear over here).
  3. There's already a few C130's around though. Whilst this isn't the most attractive of aircraft (mainly because of the bulbous nose) it's more interesting than another Hercules.
  4. I think you're probably right. One thing I might try is to darken it. I've got some Tamiya smoke somewhere.
  5. Accidently tipped it over the canopy and now It's got white patches everywhere. I've tried polishing it out with toothpaste but it's still there. Any ideas?
  6. What an annoying page to scroll down but that Breda's a great looking plane. Not really familiar with that plane.
  7. As well as being accurate can we have the winglights in clear plastic Dora (plus any other transparencies).. None of the other kits do.
  8. I'm amazed they still haven't done Venoms and Vampires in 1/48th though.
  9. And those are welcome but there's not really any new subjects.
  10. Apart from the Buccaneer (which is welcome) as far as I can see there's hardly anything new there other than the new kits we already new about like the Hellcat.
  11. True but it I wouldn't mind if they just did some new correct prop blades and wheels. The blades are the most glaring inaccuracy to me and to a lesser extent the wheels.
  12. I wish they'd retool that Halifax Mk1. Surely all they need is a few new parts such as the wheels, prop blades etc.
  13. Nothing much new there. I was hoping they'd do so more sailing ships in 1/350th but looks like they've stopped doing those for some reason.
  14. Heller seem like a badly run company to me. I bought some reissues of the old Lindberg construction vehicles a while back. I'm sure the original Lindberg kits had injection plastic tyres...................but Hellers included polythene tyres. Yes that's right that horrible plastic that can't be glued together or painted very well. It wouldn't be so bad if the tyres were in one piece but they're in 2 halves which have to go together.
  15. Certainly not my favourite American aircraft from WW2 but it looks very nice. My main gripe though is I think they should do new tools of their other old 1/24th kits first. I can't comment on the Spitfire so much as I haven't got one but I've got the old 1/24 Mustang and it's way past it's sell by date.
  16. Believe it or not I've only got 2 Spit Mk1's. A Corgi diecast and the new Airfix one in 1/72 so I'm glad I didn't buy the older Tamiya and new Airfix ones in 1/48.
  17. It's a nice kit but probably isn't quite up to the standards of the recent ZM and Academy ones.
  18. Don't think I ever finished my Heller one years ago but hopefully this will be in another league to that old kit. Certainly looks good there.
  19. I think it's about time they redid the 1/24 kits. The Mustang for a start is way overdue a replacement.
