  1. I think the Trumpeter one is the best. All models have faults but I think the detailing on the Trumpeter one is far better than the Hobbycraft Fury and the rivets and panel lines look well done too me. It also has clear plastic wing lights which I think is a big bonus. I've seen one reviewer in a recent Military In Scale magazine filling in all the rivets on the Trumpeter wings and then sticking them on to the Hobbycraft fuselage which I thought was bordering on the obsessive - especially when the Hobbycraft Fury isn't that accurate. I could understand maybe swapping the spinners around as maybe the Trumpeter spinner is a bit too long and pointed but the fuselage and wings look ok to me. There again, I'm not totally convinced the spinner on the Hobbycraft one is any more accurate anyway.
  2. Hi all, my first posting on this site! I'm looking forward to this kit and looking at the photo's of it so far it appears to look very good. As I said over on Largescaleplanes - I can handle small innaccuracies as long as the model captures the overall feel and look of the original plane. I wish Trumpeter would offer plastic tyres as well, as an alternative to those rubber ones though.
