  7. Hi all, I need to find the following colours... Deck Blue 20-B 5-N Navy Gray 5-H Haze Gray To do the USS Missouri (1945) in Measure 22 camo. I have checked with WEM and all three are out of stock.... so any other good numbers? I would prefer enamels, but any help is appreciated. Cheers Mat
  8. 300mm X 180mm X 36mm are the dimensions... not too sure on the volume though... everytime i try to calculate it, the plugin has a heart attack...

Plus i need to check history before selecting a model.. Which i now have done, and the Blue Angels did use the F9F-5 (briefly after their reformation in late 1951)
  12. Hi all, This is my first modelling effort in well over a year.. mostly due to work getting in the way. But anyway, built with a few added extras, replacement spinner and U/C legs and photo-etch in the cockpit (which is pointless after the canopy is in place).... Sorry for the pictures (had to take them on my phone) Any comments, helps or pointers well received.. Cheers Mat

  14. Correct.. we still call it DASS (well thats what we call it when it works.. i cant repeat what we normally call it here) There are lots of stupid abbreviations that Typhoon uses that there is really no need for as the RAF has something similar already in use!!
  15. Well HEA is what we as engineers call it, and the 'master race' call it the same. Thats from a first line perspective though...don't really know what industry has ordained to call it. Mat.

  20. Hi all, Just need some help with paint numbers.. I'm after H74 (mr Color) to Humbrol. It's a Grey Blue for an engine. Also, H27 (Mr Color) to Humbrol. Interior green for a F8F-1 (1950's era) Cheers in advance Mat
