Rob,
Did not post the F-15 - if you PM me your e-mail you I'll send you a a few shots..
Thanks again for the Decals, they were superb!
-
sorry civvies arent my thing...
I sold the F-22 shortly afterwards
-
I did one of these for the magazine a while ago now, nice kit but there are some awkward bits from memory, such as the intakes... those were awful to do!
I really know what you mean about the colour... I think I ended up mixing some MrColor Metallic Silver on with the base color to give it a mild silver fleck.. which worked well. Either way, it looks a really nice job with some nice weathering on it..

I think the one I modelled crashed sortly after I finished it with the loss of the pilot...
-
Shame you did not know about the beach end. it is really nice down there...
Still good to see some shots from up there..
-
Simon, stick away.... These were actually taken on the outide rather than in though!!

Spent the day with my lovely Fiancee, brother, and best mates at the last show of the year for us. It was nice to dust off the 7D and 100 - 400 and give it some action
Good laughs all round and some lovely flying in some 28 degree heat! You cannot believe that it is October! Roll on the cold weather and then some Low level action!
but for now...

Thanks Gary,
It is hard work in the Valleys but your 7D will smash it good and hard! Drop me a PM sometime and I'll explain a bit more...

-
Try when they are stonking Low level... when they are coming into land and take off itis relatively easy (of course not detracting anything from Gary's shots as they are always superb and very well presented) but, shooting in RAW really helps!
-
Gary,
Me getting out of the office and doing some photography! That'll be a nice though! WOuld be good to bump into you again sometime. If I have a day off these days I do the mad thing and drive to Wales to go on the hills!
Saying that I might make the trip over the Mildenhall come the end of the year (if the rumour mill is correct, we should be seeing something new there??)
-
By the way, the first one is very nice indeed - nice angle and great light onit - more importantly, something different from the norm
-
Great shots as ever Gary - The light certainly helps doesnt it!
Emma was out the same day as you and her new shots and her lens are really working well
John - If you are over, why note try Lakenheath/Marham & Mildenhall.
Also if you do Leuchars, try the beach end, it is simply fantastic up there especially with the seals you off the coast on the approach!

Hunter is property of Team Viper and has been on the ground since the Saturday show at Waddington where it landed with problems... I believe (from 3rd party info) that it has had two engine changes and still not a flyer yet...
-
Really pleased to see this conversion set (even though I have an F.2 in the stash!)
Look forward to seeing your progress,
Has anyone on here spoke to Ian to see how many BM'er are interested? If so, please put me down for one!!
-
That guy really does not know what he is talking about! Have a listen from 2 minutes on into the video....
Unfortunately, that is definately the Itateri boxing but on the other hand, you get a lot of decals!!!
-
Stunning!
There are modellers and then some - you are way way above them... Look forward to seeing this one progress further!
-
That looks a cracking start so far... Got one of these in the stash with D-Mold intakes, aires cockpit and burner cans - Might actually get around to building it in the next three years!
-
Any updates on the resin sets? I would still be interested if you are still doing them?
-
Noted, I did hear it was but it is amazing how different a picture can change a shade don't you think?
-
Looks superb - Just one question, It might be me and being a bit colourblind, I thought the tail was perlecent (sp?) White and not Silver?

Either way the aircraft and build look superb and it is definately one to be proud of...
-
Look forward to seeing this one go
-
Stunning - Just simply Stunning!!
What is next then?
-
Overall a really impressive show - So many to edit, not enough time but here are some so far.

-
