  1. Beaufighter Mk If Nightfighter by High Planes. Marked as X7876 ZK-F of No 25 Squadron, based at RAF Wittering from 27-11-40 to 24-01-42.
  2. For a few months in 1962 Valiants and Victors could be seen at Wittering. Valiants of No.7 Sqn were there until 30 September while B.2 Victors arrived with No.139 Sqn on Feb 1st and with No.100 Sqn on 1st May. HTH

  6. This conversion was done at the same time (Feb '09)... N1435, a glider tug with Airborne Forces Experimental Establishment, ‘A’ Flight, based at RAF Chelveston May – August 1942.
  7. Here's one of mine, built a couple of years ago... Z6977 of No 26 (Signals) Group, No 1478 Flight, RAF Hinton-In-The-Hedges from April 1943 to July 1944.

  10. Thanks, they're all by Wills and I got them from the Model Shop on Wellingborough Road Half the square is cobblestone and half granite setts with period York paving

  12. Thanks I built it basically as a stage upon which I can photograph my AFVs & softskins I may add more clutter to it too

  15. The short answer is no, there isn't one glue. Different glues do different jobs. We tend to find the glues that work best in certain situations and stick with them (aw the pun). I prefer Contacta to liquid poly although some find superglu (cyanoacrylate) works for them. For canopies PVA, ClearFix and Krystal Klear all work for me. I tend to use cyanos for etch, white metal, resin and aerial wires, but each to their own
