  1. Very impressive Jes, really love all those 109's. I will start a joy pack 109 tomorrow, lets see if I can finish it in October
  2. Don't thank me, I have to thank you and AZ/KPM. I am looking forward to the K4 and then ( hopefully not too far in the future ) the G12. Even tho I do realize that the G12 is another obscure kit compared to an G6 or even K4.
  3. I also have around 25 Fine Mold 109s and over 40 Hasegawas ( just 72, about the same amount in 48 and 10+ in 32 ), why yes, I really like the 109
  4. It's not ike AZ/KPM cant sell 10'000's of Me262 Now, how many Cuckoo, Baffins, Rippon, Gordon or Seals will they be able to sell? 1'000 total? Guess there's your answer why a Me 262
  5. And? Hasegawa has a very nice one out for 2 decades, Revell has a great one ( minus the canopy ), Academy has one out for years. Why should the airfix 262 make any difference to AZ/KPM? Airfix, Hasegawa, Academy, Revell, Finemolds, Italeri, Heller...they all have a Bf109G, why did AZ bring out theirs? Should be superfluous as well. Yet I got over 50 of theirs.
  6. There are rumors on a german modellers site that KP did cancel the Me262/C92. I just hope that's BS.
  7. Engineering is the word you are looking for. Some do it better than others. Some shortcuts have consequences as well.
  8. I have plenty of Hasegawa and Revell Me262's and not only am I looking forward to the AZ one, I will get several as well. And I will get one or two Airfix ones while I am at it
  9. Jan, to be honest, I think you have to look at your production ONLY from the point of sales. It might be fun to relase a kit of the Polikarpov I-153 prototype no 4. But if you can sell only 5 of them it would be an economic desaster. And nobody would want that. So, imho most of the suggestions I did read here are meant for the short run resin market. Because, face it. A 109 will always outsell any russian prop plane.
  10. LOL Some of you guys would stroke out when you discover what REALLY sells in Japan. Let me give you a hint. If you go to Yodobashi Camera or any kit place that sells NEW kits, you will find 3+ Gundam kits for every "real" plane kit. In reality it's probably closer to 5:1
  11. Be sure, you won't need a container. I just returned today from Aki and other places. I have seen a ZM A-1H for 100 Dollars at Mandarake total Chaos in Osaka. But they should have it for 50% more in Aki as well. Volks anyway. Make sure to know how to ask if you can have a look at the inside of the box. I got me 2 Hasegawa Ta152H ( yes, they exist ) in 1/72. Dumb as I am I was thinking it would be Aoshima. Of course it was Dragon. None the less, I got 5 Aoshimas Mandarake and Yodo are good starts in Aki. Yodo also has a decent food court on floor 8.
  12. I cant preorder up unti I am back from Japan on the 13th. I hope that I am not too late by then. Also saw a LOT of AZ/KP and RS kits here, but the prices are just insane. THe Japanese stuff is pretty cheap tho ( I wonder why that iis so
  13. What about that one small country, all surronded by EU members, yet in the heart of Europe ( aka Switzerland )?
  14. I am already extremely happy for the Messerschmitts and the Lagg 3, I will get a handful of them. Also want to take the opportunity to thank AZ for the wonderful kits. I have already over 50 of your Bf109's and hope to get many more ( also hope to end up reaching an ago of 120 otherwise I will never build them all
  15. A He 162 would be nice as well. The Frog version is just oooooooooooold and not up to date at all and the Dragon one is a non fitting nightmare.
  16. I usually build very few VVS planes, the LAGG3 I would definitely get a few kits of. I am much more interested in anohte 109. The G12
  17. I feel your pain. I got the following Airfix kits in the last couple weeks ( granted I got like 50 AZ/Legato/Admiral/KPM kits in the same time ) 4 Gladiators 1 Fw190A8 1 RAF Bomber Supply Set 1 C47 Too bad their Bf109G6 is such a stinker :/ I would love to get a P51B and Whirlwind Mk I, even the original old editions are great.
  18. I find it unlikely that the Germans would have faced B36s as that makes no sense. Most likely the B29 would have replaced the B17 and B24. No need for a super long range bomber when you have an unsinkable carrier aka the UK.
  19. What's wrong with the Typhoon? Are we talking about the WW2 one?
  20. Picked up my F2 and F4 and from what I can see thy are very, very nice looking kits. I am not a fan of the E+F at all and highly prefer the B/C/D and G/K, but I will get more of the Friedrichs for sure! Thank you very, very much mister Muzikant for those Bf109 kits.
  21. Already picking mine up tomorrow Just one thing tho. It's Friedrich, not Fridrich If the kits are as nice as the G ones I will be very happy. Looking forward to the G12 and K4
  22. It actually looks like he flew behind a leaking oil tanker...
  23. got a HUGE box with aound 30 kits i got on ebay and most are AZ/legato kits. Mostly P40 and about 5 or 6 Spitfires. Lovely kits, but I am a bit surprised and baffled to see that the Spitfire PR 1 does not come with an injected canopy, contrary what the box says. I was under the impression that both the flat and bulged canopy would be included as injected versions, but there was just the bulged one. And that one was vacform.
