  1. Hi guys! I want to show You recently built model. The well-known F4F-4 Wildcat from Arma Hobby. Built didn't cause any problems, except those that were my fault. I added positive rivets from HGW, unfortunately the effect is not very visible in the photos, you have to look closely, it is much better visible in real life. Moreover, I decided to minimize the number of decals, so I painted the markings. I also replaced the position and formation flight lights, which were cast together with the wings and fuselage. The whole thing is enriched with 3D printed parts that I received from Marcin Ciepierski (engine elements, cockpit elements, bombs and bomb racks). You can watch build process o YouTube:
  2. Hello modellers! Some time ago I started new model. This time my attention fell on the F4F-4 kit from Arma Hobby, which was based on the FM-2. I decided on, in my opinion, an interesting painting from the Operation Torch period with additional markings consisting of painting a yellow border around US stars. I approached build with the assumption that I would try to add something of my own, so I purchased, among others, rivets from HGW. For this kit, I also received, courtesy of Marcin Ciepierski, a set of parts made using 3D printing technology. To be honest, at least for me, the quality and detail of this prints made a great impression. As usual, I decided to post a video report of build of this model. You can now see the first part, i.e. building and painting the interior of the plane. Likn to video: https://youtu.be/b3R45co72xo?si=tXHEpymoXPiqiQ0T
  3. Yes they are! Hurricane is completed. Here You can watch second build video:
  4. As far as I know, the Mk IV was different from the Mk II D, so modifications are't the same.
  5. Hello! Those who follow me on Facebook know that I have been working on a new project for some time. I decided to expand my Hurricane collection with another model. This time I chose the anti-tank version released not so long ago by Arma Hobby. As in the case of Sea Hurricane, the set includes frames with the II C version and a conversion kit to II D in the form of several 3D printed parts. You can see a short overview of the content here: https://youtu.be/g1ip09eQ3KI Plane I'm building is HW874/X, No. 20 Squadron RAF, Monywa, Burma, spring 1945. You can already see the first part of build video on YouTube: And few pics:
  6. Thank you very much for so many good words about my work. It means a lot to me! :)
  7. Here is recently builded kit, Bf 110 E from Eduard in 1:72. Despite its age, the set is 11 years old, parts are well molded with plenty of crispy details. Fitting is almost excelent. Fuselage and wings are partially riveted but I deciced to add full riveting. On my YouTube channel you can watch videos about build and painting process of this kit: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLDIZZvGCcrwaaPRq28whEweOyP9xufoe8 Enjoy watching, in the meantime it's time to move on to the next project.
  8. Hi guys! I have already completed this kit, the last part of video is available on YouTube:
  9. Thanks! Sometimes a literal translation is very strange in another language. The same is with some polish - english translations. 😅
  10. I'm afraid I didn't fully understand your post. I am not a native speaker.
  11. Thanks! It is time to upload next video. And some photos:
  12. Few pics from build: I started riveting... Therefore, I filled the orygnal rivets, which in my opinion were too sparsely spaced and would clash with the made ones. I filled holes with a thick Mr.surfacer and wet sanded them smooth. The plus is that after surfacer dries well, its hardness is similar to the hardness of polystyrene used by Eduard, so I have no problem with the repeatability of rivets when I hit a patched place. I also dry fitted fuselage, wings and engine nacelles, everything fits well.
  13. Hi! At the end of the construction of Sea Hurricane, I started building another model. This time I chose the Bf-110E set recently reissued by Eduard, which has very good reviews. So far I can confirm this, I haven't encountered any problems. As usual, I started with interior. I couldn't find any confirmed information about painting the interior, so I painted it as Eduard suggests in the instructions. As in the case of Hurricane, this time I decided to make a video report of the build and painting of this model: And some pics:
  14. I'm not entirely sure if these were gas detection patches, but many factors point to it. On the IWM website there is a movie "Malta convoy" where you can see the Sea Hurricanes taking off, only this one has these round markings on the wings. In the black and white photo they look brighter than the red roundles.
