    It is a nice project and very interresting topic. As I have the same kind of project I made a lot of research about this topic. The bunker from Italeri is probably a casemate of 677 type used to shelter a 88mm gun Pak 43/41. There were two casemates of this type on Omaha beach. One at each end. The shooting embrasure was not facing the sea but taking the beach in enfilade. The concrete wall on the right had to protect the gun from navy fire.
