  1. Zvezda already makes a 737-700. It's kit 7027. See Zvezda's website for details.
  2. Mike, please accept my apologies for violating your posting policy. I was unaware that it was not allowed to embed photos from other sites. I will refrain for doing this in the future. I understand that I may link pics from other sites. Am I correct in this regard? Thank you. Sincerely, Fred
  3. In regard to my prior post as to whether Authentic's corrected 737NG inlet is a little round, please compare these two photos. One is Authentic's resin piece, the other a 737-800 I found in Airliners.net. Is it just a matter of photo perspective? I'm curious for your comments. Thank you. Fred <IMAGE REMOVED DUE TO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT>
  4. Comparing Authentic's engine inlet to photos of actual aircraft seems to show that the resin inlet is too round. The nacelle bottom appears correct though. I would like to post comparison pics but haven't figured out how to include them. Can anyone please help? Thank you. Fred
  5. This link shows you the Kit's instructions. The P-51D/K includes both Hamilton Standard and Aeroproducts props. Fred http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10199450
  6. Thanks. Yes, this is the panel/plate I'm referring to. Someone wrote that it might be a mod related to installation of Skybolt missiles. Is this accurate? If so, is there any way of identifying the airframes modified by serial number? Thank you. Fred
  7. I can't view the photo you're referring to. Flikr says it's labeled private and will not let me open it. Fred
  8. My favorite wide body airliner, and to my mind the best looking of them all. Great job on your model --- beautiful finish. Fred Cuevas
  9. It's the area beneath the engine intakes more or less at the same angle as the wing leading edge. Coincides approximately with the sooty area shown in the photo. Fred
  10. Looking at my copy of Airfix's Avro Vulcan, I notice raised panels under the wings just beneath the engine intakes. They seem like strengthening panels. Does anyone know whether these were added during inital build or a later addition? If the latter, which serial numbers incorporated this mod? Thank you. Fred Cuevas
  11. I see that Model Alliance (The Aviation Workshop) make replacement resin intakes (http://www.theaviationworkshop.co.uk/resin/accessories/BCS-701.php) for this kit. What is wrong with the plastic parts included in the kit? Wondering whether I should spend the money. Thank you. Fred Cuevas
  12. If you're referring to the 1/48 scale kit, Scale Aircraft Conversions makes a set - E.E. Lightning Landing Gear (AFX/EDU kit) #48032. Hope this helps. Fred Cuevas
  13. I just picked up this kit at my LHS. Overall, it looks very good and I'm pleased to have a model of this variant. However, on close examination of the parts I discovered that the wingtips of all four wing pieces are bent about 1/4 inch from the end. It looks as if they were crimped, as the chordwise fold lines are perfectly straight. I'm certain the damage didn't occur in transit or packaging. The box is intact and certainly large enough to contain all parts easily. I can repair this damage with CA/putty once the top and bottom pieces are glued together. Still, I'm rather disappointed. I'm sure I'll make my own mistakes assembling the model. I don't need further help from Airfix in this regard! Anyone else encounter this in their sample? Thank you. Fred Cuevas
