    So, I have been wondering about this picture. It is public domain from the National Museum of the United States Air Force site, taken at Kadena air base, Japan. Could this revetment possibly be made of PSP covered with concrete?

    That some of the proposed decorations lead you to this situation is indeed surprising and disappointing, and should be better advertised on the box itself. On the other hand, it is good to know that if one ever intends to build one of those tricky versions that require a bit of an F2 and a bit if an F4, this box could be a good option.

    Thankfully you noticed this early enough and didn’t put your airbrush or model into trouble ! 😅 According to http://www.arcforums.com/forums/air/index.php?/topic/315518-using-ak-real-colors-for-the-first-time-what-do-i-need-to-know/ a.o., the RC series actually require a lacquer thinner. AK have a specific thinner for RC - that may be why ? https://ak-interactive.com/product-category/paints/ak-real-colors/real-colors-ak-interactive-thinner/ (no shares owned ! 😀)

    What a splendid collection! For me also, a special mention for the Tiger showing its teeth. 😀 And the yellow and black stripes suit it quite well, too.

    I have seen many warnings about acrylic paint bubbling off when covered with enamel varnish. Perhaps worth a try on a separate piece of suitable plastic first ?
