  7. Don't worry about the canopy seamline i tell you how i remove it on my Hobby Boss corsair that i build recently .......you can download and a construction video that i make for fun to share it with fellows in a greek forum.......i log in as staticjim there ...... scroll down and you see video part 1 and 2 download it and you see how i remove the seamline ...... i speek greek but you can understand the order to remove it http://www.modelclub.gr/forums/index.php/t....html#msg201357 I'm going to explain it here to ........ first i sand the line with 400 grid squadron sanding stick ....... then sanding paper 800 then 1200 then 2000 the papers from 3M ...... i have found a compound that is for the "dust" that paint create after airbrushing ....... When finish sanding with 2000 grid paper i put some compound on the canopy and with a cotton "brush" that i put on my Dremel i start to polish it ..... (this canopy is from an A-10) You can polish it with tamiya compound to.
  8. Holly Cow !!!!!!!! Man you scratch like a maniac !!! Amazing !
  9. I forgot to say about background Yes that is correct richc and for that we can use a carton or paper or a fabric for background not to confuse the subject with other items.
  10. Greetings Deon I give you a tip about depth of field ........ i am photographer and there is one thing that most people don't now about DOF. I try to explain as simple as i can because my English is not my hard point. When you want your subject to be clear and sharp it is recommended to use a lens from 50mm and below. For example 35mm is the best. And this is simple because there is a rule that says bigger focal lengths such us 105mm 200mm 400mm etc the depth of field is smaller. In 35mm lens an aperture of f/5.6 the DOF is much bigger from one in 200mm in same aperture. My opinion is if you have compact or SLR camera go to your less focal length that your camera has and set the aperture in f/5.6 or f/8 and your model is going to be in focus and clear. If you tell me what is your camera and lens maybe i can help you more. The other way is to put your camera in a tripod set big aperture f/11 or f/16 and take the shot with self timer. But there is the risk of vibrations if your tripod is not very good and steady in case that you have SLR camera ...... in case of compact camera the shake is near zero because the shutter is on the lens and there is no mirror to move to. I hope this tip help you
