  1. Wow, T-45C injection kit? Complete kit? Good news ad far as I am concerned. Will it be a new developped kit or is it going to be the Italeri kit along with new resin parts (wings, fences)? Eric B.
  2. Modeller already jumped to the next wish, I have been hoping for a new tool F-5E/F for years (with Wolfpack high on my expectation list), now hoping Wolfpack would scale down their 1/48th T-38s to 1/72nd scale. Regards Eric B.
  3. Hi, Several of us seem to work on the same projects or have the same questions. I should have asked earlier 😄. I am currently building what is planned to be a Mig-21SM from an Eduard MF. I think the S did not have the rearview mirror and fences under the auxilliary intakes but the SM either had them or received them later in their operational life. The one I am building will have both the mirror and the fences making it very close to an MF. I used a "Gorky" kit ie without the oval shaped panel over the wings. I am not absolutely positive about these panels, but SM plans I could find did not show them (see RV Aircraft book - 1/72 Mig-21 plans). I somewhere read that one should use a Gorky wing with a Moscow fuselage to build a correct SM but the info was not confirmed/conclusive and enough Eduard boxes mixing with the FL project : I went all the way with a Gorky MF. Only exterior difference will be using the "spoked" main wheels (not the flush hubbed ones) which already are in the box. Eric B.
  4. Hi I personnally very recently bought both an Eduard Mig-21PF and PFM Overtree kits from the company's site for this very project. I had recently found discussions building a Mig-21FL from the Eduard recent releases. I once thought I could get all the bits from a Mig-21PFM kit but I later changed my mind with more information coming. It more or less will be : * Mig-21PF canopy (available in PFM kit though), cockpit (didn't check how different they may be in kits) , ejection seat and most importantly wings/flaps * Mig-21PFM fuselage, spine and fin and rest of details. That will probably leave me with spare parts for an almost complete Mig-21 for and undefined version (maybe an LF 😄) but being Overtree kits I found total price was acceptable for a special unreleased version. I am now complete with Mig-21s in 1/72nd scale until Eduard releases the Mig-21Bis and SMT versions... Eric B.
  5. Hello, Beautiful job. I really like it... and the weathering makes it real!! Congratulations Eric B.
  6. Well done, This is a very sharp looking model and a real beauty... Congratulations for your beautiful Viking. I so often regret that this model was released a few monthes too early. It is still a very nice kit. I do not know how many I could have built if it had recessed panel lines as the Hasegawa Prowler that was released just about the same time. Best regards.. Eric B.
  7. Hello, You're right. I am interested un both jet fighters in 1/72nd scale and 1/144th scale liners - EE kits are pricey. Difference is I may have 10-12 Phantoms in my stash and it will be one EE A310 only in my lifetime : I can afford the price of one. Best ... Eric B.
  8. Wow, I, myself was wondering about either a B737-800 or A320/321. But the B777-300 (-300 that is) is way out of size for me. Nice project though. Eric B.
  9. Hello all, Perfect, this is exactly the question I had : how to chosse between Eduard Mig-21MF subversions if I wanted to build Middle East or African aircraft. Next will be for an SM. Thank you for the link. Eric B.
  10. Hi Given how Revell produced their little Airbus A320 Neo with no LG and how well Zvezda produced their orignal 1/144th A320 model, I think Zvezda have my money on my future A320 Neo. I might well eng buying both Revell and Zvezda on the A321 Neo. Eric B.
  11. Wow, I'll be in for one... I missed the earlier information... so wait will be shorter 😉 Eric B.
  12. Well for Airfix 2020! 1/72nd RAF Buccaneer S2B/D 1/72nd Sea Vixen FAW2 1/72nd Javelin FAW7/9 1/72nd Fairey Firefly mk.4/5 Well any two of these in 2020, rest in 2021 in anticipation of Airfix 2021 next year... 😉 Eric B.
  13. Hi, Thought all techniques have their use, I generally prefer postshading to preshading and this is another example to me. I really like your finish and weathering : your Bf-109 is a gem. Congratulations.. Eric B.
  14. Hi, Very nice job here, looking real. I flew dozens of flights from Paris - CDG to Budapest Ferihegy between 1997 and 2001, Air France or MALEV. I believe MALEV Boeings still were B737-300 back then. I still have something for the MALEV livery... Beautiful model really and sharp job.. Eric B.
  15. Wow, They really are fulfilling my last 10 year expectations : L1011-500, B747SP, MD-11, DC-9 series and now DC-10!! What Revell or Minicraft should have done earlier. Now just hoping someone releases a B757 and I'm OK. Eric B.
  16. Hi, That is a seriously sharp model we have here... That is a very nice A321 you did here, well built, detailed, painted and decaled and to add on this the 3D effect on the windows and windshiels really make it look like real. Great job. Eric B.
  17. Hi What you describe is what you have to do when you want mean to build an accurate Esci/Italeri F-100D or Tamiya F4D-1 (Skyray) - (good kits though). That said with the Fujimi Skyhawks still holding on strong, I think this is a real flaw on the part of Trumpeter/HobbyBoss if they don't provide slats with their little A-4 series... Eric B.
  18. Hello, Very nice model... Decidedly these Authentic Airliners kits look the part.. any of them. They capture the shape and stance of any jetliner perfectly. l never built one until now although I have 3 "regional" jets in my stash... You really used one such model very well... Congratulations Eric B.
  19. All 1/72nd scale : Now the Buccaneer is planned and provided a RAF boxing will follow... * Sea Vixen FAW.2 * Sea Venom * Javelin Would be great. Eric B.
