  1. Mine is expected to arrive any day now...can't wait
  2. Its great to see all these build stages...my kit is expected to arrive next month. Based on the updated instruction pdf that Pocher provided, it looks like the nose cone is engineered to be permanently attached to the frame, that is, the full nose cone cannot be be easily separated from the chassis for display purposes? It seems a shame to hide all that detail at the front end of the car. I am thinking about assembling the nose cone in full as one unit (upper/lower panels and the front wings), but not attaching it to the chassis...it looks like that can be done? I expect to display the car with the cowling removed as well. Wondering if anyone else has thoughts on how the front end of the kit was engineered. Maybe I am missing something as I mentioned I do not have the kit to view... Keep the excellent pics coming! Joe
  3. Oy! Really? This is looking more and more less attractive as the stress-relieving build I was hoping for...
  4. cati, thanks for the link to the updated instructions pdf. My kit is still back ordered, so it is nice to see these now. It's too bad the instructions are not that detailed, such as providing some basic guidance on proper colors for those of us that want to paint various components...(such as what you typically see in Tamiya instructions). I realize the kit is marketed toward the idea that painting is not required, and believe me, the fact that the black body/wing panels are fully finished and decaled (tampo printed?) is a big selling point for me. Perhaps there are transkit options that will be developed and made available over the coming months (years?) and what would especially be appreciated from those vendors is a proper set of reworked/detailed instructions for the likes of me
  5. Just came across this thread. Outstanding work...I now have the motivation to drag my Monza out from the attic and resume working on it...
  6. The kit looks great! I have one preordered...not expected to arrive until later this month...so the pics in this thread are much appreciated! I have worked on several Pocher models in the past (Alfa Romeo Monza and a few F40s) but I have not worked on a "recent" Pocher release. The parts count on the box indicates 477 pieces...I thought the Hornby website indicated over 600 pieces...maybe I have that wrong. Regards, Joe
