  1. Thanks Chaps, the main problem I have at the minute is Im doing the Lynx in the loft and while it's -0 outside even with the heater on it's a bit chilly.
  2. Small update got the second coat of paint on the cab and painted floatation bags for the front.Tail section adjusted and filled for carrect spec.
  3. Lynx7 Great intake guards how do you make them again ! lol
  4. As always Tony simple amazing, looks like another top biuld from you.
  5. I cant believe thats a model you have got the effect spot on well done.
  6. Two great models well done the 599 gto is one of my favourites cars of the moment I cant help my self watching the auto car review of it being thrashed around the hill of italy. If only i had 300k !
  7. I love these UAV's I have a smaller scale one waiting in the loft for a rainey day.
  8. So its starting to take shape now I have finished the dash section but have found it will not quite fit with the windscreen in some more trimming needed. Working on the front floatation bags as the ones in the kit dont look quite right a bit of filling should sort them out.
  9. Fitted the nose box section and sanded off the sensors as not fitted on the training cabs. Tail section anntena removed and filled smooth. Drilled the main uprights out and fitted small section of broken drill shafts to support the wheels.
  10. Amazing models, well done on the ship deck looks very good and puts the model in a very nice mood.
  11. Here we go again !! I cant wait to see it mate.
  12. Thought I would show you the real thing. This was one of my dads cabs that he looked after when it was a Has 2 before the mods to mk3. Me having my Topgun moment !
  13. Just a small update not been well with virol infection. Trying hard not to make it perfect as in the fit of the panels as the real one was far from perfect. Heard from a guy at Yeovilton that buy March 2013 there will be no more mk3 Lynx was a shame,
  14. looking great my next biuld after the Airfix one. well done.
  15. HI Rick In a word NO, I took a break from it as its very hard to keep it going every turn is another problem to sort out. You may have seen Im making the Airfix Lynx as it was a well timed break from the big one. This also helps spur me on too and will help later for a reference to the big one. I went to my local model shop yesterday as I know the owner and there on show was the Revell 1/32 mk8 kit so well I had to buy that too lol. Justin
  16. Well may I be the first to say well done looks great when on the stand I like the idea of that. Realy nice
  17. Started looking at all the pictures I have of this cab as it was very old and very beaten about. It's going to take some odd painting to get it to look like the real thing.Lots of sections of the real cab had been touched up and some almost bear metal showing in some area's.Still I have alot of pics to help. I still need to complete the dash Im going back to that as I got stuck.
  18. I used some insulation foam that you put around windows and cut a very fine section of it off.Took a couple of coats of paint as it was black.
  19. New nose fitted after a quite alot of filling to get it looking right and only a small amount of filler required.
  20. Top engine covers coming on hard to get the filling right as still want to show a small gap between as the panels would open on the real aircraft.
  21. You think youve got problems check out my thread on my build !!
  22. Some thing I have not seen before in a navy lynx is the armoured seat. Is this correct as I love to know new things about the Lynx. Not seen this cab in the flesh.
