  5. Hello I'm in need of some help please, I am looking to make a Ferrari model for a good friend of mine who has a F430. I built him one a couple of years ago for his 360 Ferrari using a Hot wheels model stripped down adjusted and re-painted. I was thinking of doing the same but his new car has the challenge wheels and I can not find them anywhere to buy. They are 19" and have 5 bolts holding them on,I can find the race challenge wheels look the same but are held on buy one centre nut. This is the car... Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

  12. Hi Simon no you are right the has 3 tail rotor not only goes the other way but the tail blades are the wrong type too. Early blades were molded into the base plate were as the later blades bolted in place with 2 big bolts. I had the same problem making the Airfix Lynx as the tail blades are wrong in that for the mk3 even buying the so called conversion kit they supply the same ones.Had to chop and mod them. Any thing else just ask I love them . justin

  20. Thank for all the nice words chaps CT Modeller, thanks for your post the cab is no longer and she was broken up for spares and the main body is being used as a test rig for pilots to train on for the Wildcat. I have parts of the cab in my lounge given to me by the airbase. Next model will be xz229 as I flew in this one in the Falklands.
  21. Well after six months I have got it finished at last. I realy enjoyed copying the real cab and all the worn parts that I had photos of. As you can see in the pics the cab had just had a new tail boom fitted as it was getting vibrations from the old one. The amount of dents and poor touched up paint work was all over it. I was told but the work crews that due to health and safety they can no long use grey paint from a spray can and so have to use bits of old sponges and just dab the grey paint on tho the chipped area's. The cab was very old and it showed it too. I hope you enjoy the pics.
