  1. looks great - can i ask what vallejo grey you used?
  2. Hi guys looking for some advice on my 1/200 late 1944 / 45 Nelson build. Particularly struggling with questions re the metal decking on the superstructure 1 What colour ? used neutral grey for my Hood, which looks fine but any thoughts - from what I can see the deck colour didn't change 1939-45 2 turret tops - Anti-slip grey paint or not ? some photos seem to indicate yes - if yes what colour ? same as rest of metal decking ie neutral grey or something a tad lighting say medium sea grey ? 3 floor of gun tubs - anti slip grey as well ? 4 tactics when painting decking on the superstructure - paint deck then mask or vertical surfaces ? cheers Greg ps anyone found a good a conversion chart for vallejo to RN / USN colours ? (I really like Vallejo Air -but find colour matching a nightmare
  3. Looking outstanding Andy. A couple of questions if you have 5 re painting the metal deck areas on the upper decks of the superstructure 1. Will you be painting them ? (some seem to leave them the same colour as the vertical plates - But most sources seem to show them as Dark Grey) 2. if you do paint them I'd appreciate your thoughts on how you go about the masking. of the floors / internal walls etc. 3. Also wondering on your preferred colour ? on my Hood I used neutral grey and was thinking to go the same again - I'd appreciate your thoughts. 4. One last question - did Rodney have anti stick grey on top of her turrets ? if yes also wondering on the colour you'll be using ? Same as rest of decking ? cheers and take care Greg
