  1. Have another from someone who can't tell the difference between a pen and a brush....!! 🤣 Good little tutorial Jo, thanks for that. Keith
  2. Hmmm, I'm not sure about that, given the window has a curve from bottom to top, if you don't glue it I would think the top will spring away from the body? But, other than trying to (gently) scrape the surround flat with the tip of a straight scalpel blade so you can glue the window on, I can't think of anything better.... Keith edit - re-reading your post Jeroen, I realise that you mean you'd still glue three sides of the window, so it shouldn't be a problem...?
  3. Lovely job(s) again, they both look really good! Nice work! Keith
  4. Ah right, sorry if you mentioned that and I missed it! I thought you'd coloured the screen with the pen it's resting on! Keith
  5. Indeed, I'd need a ladder to reach the cab steps....!! Fantastic model of a fantastic machine! Keith
  6. Milk, one sugar please Neddy, I'll get some biccies in... Looking forward to this Jeroen! Keith
  7. I think it's lovely - gorgeous paint job, really very nicely done! I agree about the wheels but they really dont detract that much from a stunning model, just a shame the manufacturer made such a mistake. Top job! Keith
  8. The sunstrip looks great Jo, but I'm a little confused (easily done!) - are you putting the colour on the outside of the screen (as I suspect), or on the inside over the decal? And what is the pen you're using? Good to see the quattro on the move again! Keith
  9. I think it was more the case that there was an x-pack option for the 'droop snoot' RS, rather than people adding the nose cone Keith
  10. Oh look out, he's off again...!! I've got enough and to last the duration so crack on Neddy, this will be fun! Keith PS Really good to hear the eye ops went well....
  11. That's a cracking build Ian, and I think your efforts with the oils look spot on - tremendous weathering! Looking forward to seeing the Tamiya Turkey in the future! Great work on the Bug! Keith
  12. Another absolute cracker Chris, with your usual astonishing brushwork! Sorry for not following the build thread, just don't have the time to follow all the excellent w.i.p. threads on BM! Stunning Beau....!! Keith
  13. API? IPA? Whatever Jeroen, be careful it doesn't remove all your filler work as well..... Don't ask me how I know that might happen.... Keith
  14. If you're going to extend the harnesses to the back of the car gg, watch out for the funky attachments on the outer belts - they're bolted to the roll cage rear upright for some reason! Me too, brilliant stuff (no pun intended! ) Keith
  15. Comin' ( no g!) along nicely Steve, ride height and track lookin' spot on! Keith
  16. That is just lovely - and that's from a non Ferrari fan!! Beautiful colour with an interior that really sets it off, paintjob is great and the wheels look perfect! Top work!! Keith
  17. Thankfully quite a number of the Ukranian model manufacturers are still going and are regularly releasing new stuff - more power to them and long may they continue! Keith
  18. Thanks Steve, I had a look at both those pages on Fbook but couldn't see anything about bits for sale? Keith
  19. Absolutely Vesa, couldn't agree more! Keith
  20. Nope, mine will all have crossflows, twin cams or BDA's. Well, in pretend anyway, cos I can never be bothered with engines!! 🤣 Keith
  21. Gorgeous model of my favourite ever car - cracking build Steve! Colour looks very much like Maize Yellow? I had a fully prepared Mk1 Mex in that colour - it was never as clean as your model though!! It was a four year old car when I bought it and it was as rotten as a pear!! Loved it though! Absolutely stunning work! Keith
  22. Bit better than the ones listed for 400 quid or more on flea bay!! Nice buy! Keith
  23. Very nice model, really like the colour and you've got an excellent finish. Personally I think the wheels are too big and the stock ones suit it much better, but that takes nothing away from the build! Keith
  24. Personally - don't like either of them! Keith
