Hong Kong Models 1/48 Mitchell B-25J

That's a real beauty Alistair, very nice paintwork and the weathering looks spot on, top job! Looking forward to seeing the Fort..... Keith -
Can't say I do - also hate any Porsche that Koenig ruined....!! š¤£ K

That's a very nice little Porker, the colour really suits it! I've got one of these on the stalled shelf, I agree about the lack of RHD option! Keith
-
He just fancied rallycross more than circuit racing....!! š¤£ Keith

I'm not a particularly Ferrari fan, so can someone enlighten me as to what the yellow thing is? I thought it was an F40 at first glance but it doesn't look right....? Keith
-
There's one very similar to that running around locally, but if there's only 5 genuine ones in the UK I reckon it's a copy cat! Keith

Once again that is some incredibly neat carbon decalling on some very tricky looking shapes - really good work again Urs! All that c.f. stuff is one reson I don't build supercar models!! Did you post pics of your Morgan & Mustang, if so I missed them.... Keith

International 5000 Paystar 6x6 1/25
keefr22 replied to Stickframe's topic in Work In Progress - Vehicles
Well seeing the rough ground the originals work on, me, I'd make up an undulating base so that the wheel touches said undulating ground.... No? OK I'll get me Keith PS - wheel aside, the beast is coming along very nicely indeed! -
It's decent of them to say that though, most manufactures will just put any ancient old tat in shiny new boxes and say nothing!! Looking forward to seeing it in colour! Keith

Side on it looks like an Imp and that's all that was needed in the Special Saloon days! š¤£ He can't trace any history of the shell but the guy he bought it off 'thought' it was originally produced to actually be built as a Special Saloon racecar. Kev built all the spaceframe and designed the engine and transmission installation himself - and the engineering is quite exquisite, I wish I could do stuff as neatly in 1/24 plastic! Unfortunately he had a major off, rolling it several times at - ironicallly enough - a sprint at Llandow. So today was a shakedown after a long rebuild, both for the Imp - and Kev! I just noticed in the video that he's actually modified the front arches and they now blend much more smoothly into the body. K

We see a lot of comments in posts (& I make enough myself!) as to the car 'I wish I still had' (I have way more than one but let's narrow it down!). Conversely which car have you had that you couldn't wait to see the back of! So the one that I really wish I still had was a Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico, PTH226K (one of the few regs I still remember!) in Maize yellow, black Mex stripes, fully rally prepared and with the sweetest 1760 Crossflow running twin45 Webers. I so loved that car.... On the other hand my most hated thing was a 'limited edition' 1600 Ford Sierra Azura - absolutely and completely dreadful piece of automotive pooh....!! š¤£ So, what are yours.... Keith

In the 'silhouette' sense as per a 70's special saloon....!! It's this little beast; Keith
-
Unfortunately - if it wasn't I might be able to afford one....!! š¤£ K

My mate with the Yamaha engined, full spaceframe and fibreglass body hillclimb Imp finally got back on track after 7 years today and I went to help him out testing at Llandow, on the way there on the M4 heading west - a Ferrari F40...!! It looked genuine and if it was it's the first I've ever seen! Little later and less exotic, but according to how many left it's rarer than an F40 - a Renault Fuego! Keith Oh and one I forgot from last weekend again on the M4 westbound a lovely yellow-orange Espirit S4

keefr22 replied to Anteater's topic in Ready For Inspection - Vehicles
That's a cracker - I've never been able to bring myself to weather my car models, but really like to see one made to look well used - and your Mustang certainly looks that! Really good finish and your photo workshop is excellent too! Keith -

That's another cracking build gg, really nice paintjob in a colour that realy suits the car - very neat interior too. And no stupid camber on the wheels....!! Your photography is excellent too - some of those shots look like an EVO magazine studio shoot! Great job! Keith -

1/72 Sword F84F Thunderstreak Luftwaffe
keefr22 replied to Robin-42's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Enjoyed following your build thread and now seeing the excellent end result - that's a lovely Thunderstreak, very nicely finished. It's inspired me to dig one of mine out and get cracking! Top job! Keith -
Only Pug that I've ever wanted to own! Rather have that Escort Cossie though! Nice pics again Gary! Keith

Indeed, but tbh I just blank them out! Swifties Mini is pure gold entertainment whoever is driving it! Jake Hill just had another great drive in the Ken Miles Mustang race, with Sheddon driving like it was a BTCC race! Ash Sutton made a mess of the daffodils on the chicane....!! š¤£ All good stuff!! Goodwood has once again provided a great weekend of motorsport, and I'm really grateful they stream it, I've only managed to get to FoS three times and the last was years ago now, don't see me being able to get to a live event again.... Keith
-
I thought the 'prototype' looked even more scary - wouldn't even fancy driving the thing in a demo! Really glad that Goodwood provides a free live stream so that us plebs can enjoy it too...!! Though I can't believe there are pillocks in the comments complaining about the coverage...!! Favourite of mine from yesterday has to be the Gordon Spice trophy - I just love tin tops ...!! But all the other stuff was brilliant too, all really good entertainment! Keith
