  1. Hello Tony

Gary Hatcher, the Editor of Guidline Publications suggested I contact you because of your extensive knowledge of the British aircraft based on Malta in WWII.

I have recently read Arthur Aldridge's extarordinary book 'The Last Torpedo Flyers' and would like to build a 1/48 kit of his Beaufort to go alongside my other Malta kits.  Unfortunately, I can find no reference material to help me paint and mark his aircraft other than the serial number DD598.  I have a copy of Warpaint No 50 by Tony Butler and whilst this shows a range of camo schemes and colours it does not focus just on Malta and there is no specific information for Arhur Aldridges aircraft.  To do Flight Commander Aldridge's memory justice I would need to know the aircraft's camo scheme A or B, the upper and lower surface colours, the squadron identification letter and any distinguishing marks / artwork.

If you know of any reference images / information I would be very grateful.

    Kindest regards

    Steve

  2. Hi Jim A beautiful build. I am about to try something similar using the old Hasegawa Mk V kit with Quickboost aftersale parts. One thing that has got me stumped though is the blister canopy. How did you source yours? Kind regards Steve
