  1. I don't want to interrupt for long. The micromodels are already a legend. I have also been allowed to construct models for them. , I love the small models.😍 These are my constructions (If you do not want to have this here in your construction report then I delete it gladly) Micromodelle Heidelberg β€’ (worldofmicromodels.nl)
  2. Hello, as I am an old cardboard model maker and constructor I am looking forward to your construction. Have fun and good luck!πŸ‘
  3. Well, whether the figures belong to Hue, Saigon, Da Nang or Keh Sanh is irrelevant to me. I assume that all U.S. soldiers look the same with their weapons and uniforms and the poses are also uniform when shooting. Nobody can say that this is the only way they shot in Hue. So you can't say that they belong to a certain area. Yes, I also used Google.
  4. It worked . With magnifying glasses and a scalpel
  5. The Base looks perfect. Great job! πŸ‘
  6. It's easier to paint everything on the frame. That's for sure. While the parts were drying I continued with TinkerCad: I'm totally on the ropes now. The question, how the hell do I get the guns off the sprues? The sprues are crap. I don't think it will work and the guns will be destroyed. The barrels are the worst, hair fine and when they break off I see black gluing them back on. poo-poo to the power of three.
  7. Hello Peter, thank you for your explanations. I try to make the best of itπŸ‘ At the weekend I took care of the painting. This time I painted everything on the frame. I think it is better to paint the marines this way. They are not finished yet but I already painted some lights and shadows. They will get the finish when they are glued together. This way I can apply the paint to the sprues. With the weapons I don't think I can get them completely out of the frame. Some sprues are on the hair-thin barrel...............see that only one barrel has crappy sprues. Well, hopefully it will work. Also the guns are not ready yet.............. No I'm not going to do a close up of the figures. Figures always look funny in the close-up Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
  8. I have started with the diorama. Now I have to stop it for the time being. I noticed that I don't have the measurements of the figures yet. I need them to adjust everything. Good, then start with the figures. This is what I had created so far:
  9. ........in 1:35 + 3D model from the printer, I'm going to put it on my desk today... I'm doing the trench in Tinkercad, of course. My problem is the sandbags. I didn't get any correct information about the dimensions in NET. Then just by eye πŸ˜‰
  10. The "Intruder XB982" is ready. What else did I do? I dry-painted with light blue, the planets, moons and the rings also got colour and small lights are added to the hull. And it is ready.....................
