thx for sharing your modeling journey . good to hear you could return to it. nice painting on latest squad. i like their camo cloak & modern military rifle. my miniatures began five years ago. my favorite factions are Blood Angels, Tau Empire. first squad latest bust my painting techniques haven't improve much🤣

In the past, GW boxset is attractive and in reasonable price, but same as rest of it current products: list price raised too much. If you only want that (one of) special new miniature in boxset, 2~3 years before, you could just wait it sell alone later. However, Greedy GW develops terrible way to treat customers, that special new miniatures still will be published 2~3 seasons later, but only through GW online shop, i.e. in high price + postage... Thus, i might give up GW miniatures soon. Tyranids not my favorite faction in 40K. I only like its queen (Tervigon), so buy some extra babies (Termagants) for her. This boxset included 20 Termagants, I built ten of them for practicing color scheme & painting technique. Beside GW, i enjoy some minis in Para Bellum's Conquest (however molding not so good), Wyrd's Malifaux (has good molding, but 99% of character designs not my cup of tea), Steamforged's video games convert miniatures (but also poor molding). it is Kaiyodo's "SCULPTURE WORKS" series, Evangelion Unit-01 "Berserk". https://www.1999.co.jp/eng/search?typ1_c=109&cat=&state=&sold=0&sortid=6&searchkey=SCULPTURE+WORKS Kaiyodo 3D scan its old figure/resin kits, then convert them to injection kit.

nice camo. me too, i wish it provides plastic parts at the same time. i do sticked the etched skirting on it, but the rest are too narrow, weak to stick in 1/72 scale...

Another head of fantasy dinosaur in Warhammer: Troglodon. It came from the same box of kit in last week, therefore you either build Troglodon or Carnosaur, and get a bust for another one.
