  1. Unfortunately, there is not much time for scale modeling in a country that was attacked by the country-aggressor russia, but our country is fighting and we are trying to live despite all the difficulties💪 It was very long pause, but there is some progress: - a copper cleaning rod was made. It was my first experience with hand-made metal parts. It turned out terrible, but I don't think it will be noticeable on the model at all. In order to make the bad result less noticeable, I damaged the cleaning rod. - installed a headlight with minimal modification - accessories and pioneer tools from photo etching - 🎉installed a horseshoe on the tank🥳 - found in a friend a metal barrel for jagdpanther👀 - made cloth from Tamiya epoxy putty (Quick type) 🥳Jagdpanther is now assembled and the painting phase can begin. All photos of assembled model I will add later⏲️ 🤯 Difference between plastic and photoetched parts is incredible:
  2. Weld seams 💯 I made all weld seams from Tamiya epoxy putty. It was my first experience. All this model is my solid first experience😁 Also assembled rear hull storage boxes. And These very small locks on boxes have drow my crazy🤯
  3. And these metal parts also took a lot of nerves from me))) The exhaust pipes had to be protected by metal parts. But I did not manage to fix them well and adjust to the dimensions. So I decided to pretend that the protective covers were torn off and only the fasteners remained 🤪 (Metal squares)
  4. My first armor texture 🎉 The armor turned out well. I am 90% satisfied) It was an unsurpassed experience and no theory would be as useful as trying to do it with your own hands. I am sure that the next model with the armor texture will be well done at 100%.
  5. WIP. Hull is assembled. Breech of gun is assembled 🎉 It was a long pause. But I did some steps in assembling. I glued a whole hull of Jagdpanther. It was like Lego)) But in the upper armor plate appeared a small gap. I'll create on this place a weld seam and all will be good) Changes on the hull: - Cutted off the plastic on the sides of the hull - I will create it from Voyager in the future; - Plastered places for fastening additional tracks. It will be created also from voyager photo-etched; - Cutted plastic seams. I'll change it with seams from Tamiya epoxy putty; - Cutted off the mudguards; - Deepened the welds places on the armor. I will make new ones from Tamiya epoxy; Other changes: - Assembled lifting jack - Assembled gun breech. It is a pity that it will not be visible. - Other parts which I didn't glue to the hull, because I'll make a cast armor on them. Also, I assembled a few parts from voyager. It was difficult without soldering iron, but it can be created very well with cyanoacrylate. It needs experience. Photo report🙂
  6. What glue did you use? It looks very carefully and beautiful
  7. Tracks are assembled. In instruction writes that each side consists of 87 tracks. I used 86. Maybe I could use 85, but what has been done cannot be changed 🙃 Each side I glued of two parts because my conductor for assembly trucks is too short. In general, tracks look very beautiful but I'm 90% satisfied with the result. I don't like what tracks look like on idler wheel on the left side. But it is my mistake. I glued tracks for a long time and so tracks badly curve during installation on wheels. I will be more careful in the future.
  8. Before assembling tracks I painted some details that will be hidden behind engine grilles.
  9. Героям Слава) 🇺🇦 Yes, these tracks look beauty. And a finished look is worth the work. I hope to glue tracks in one part without connected from two parts. In a few days I will do photos of done work. Your advice is good)
  10. Tracks are ready for assembly ♨️ It was hard and interesting (no). 174 parts🥴 If I build a model on Panther base from Meng in the future, I will never assemble tracks from the model box. But it was a great experience)
  11. Tracks. I didn't have enough time last week. Currently, I have cut off and sanded ~42%. I hope to finish tracks in one week🤞
  12. Lower hull with wheels. I made an imitation of movement of the tank on a hilly surface (for future dioramas). On each swing arm, I cut the plastic that fixed swing arm (photo number 1). After that, the swing arms can be moved up and down. Then I fixed the formed position of wheels (glued rollers to the hull) And I have started assembling tracks. It will be long, very long. Each track consists of three parts🥴🤯 But I will do it
  13. I have downloaded photos to google photos and have copied a photo's link. I will find why you can't see photos. UPD: I changed method of creating a link in prev post
  14. All wheels are finished. Inside each wheel, there is poly bushing. So I may not glue wheels to swing arms 👌The hole in the drive sprocket is plastered:
  15. 💢 Regarding the previous question. I did not find photo evidence that this hole was on a real tank. So I decided to plaster it.
  16. Wheel assembly. ❓I have one question. Who knows if this hole should be in the drive sprocket? 🤔
  17. No, tracks are not-workable. Meng has workable tracks for TS-039. But it is sold separately (SPS-049). I don't want to buy that set. I want to try to assemble tracks from the box. It looks very nice, even though it is difficult to assemble. I'll add photos later. I still assemble wheels.
  18. Lower hull. Everything is standard except that I fixed the metal nut. Later through the hole, I will fix the model with a wooden bar and bolt. You will see this later) There are little seams press-form on swing arms (these parts from Panther TS-035) So it took ~ 3+ hours to remove them. I didn't glue lower hull and upper hull, because I think that this way would be easier to assemble the tracks.
  19. I'm building now. And I want to say that I never built a model of Meng or other modern and high-quality firms. This is my first model from Meng. And I probably will never buy a trumpeter or anything like that again. Now I'm happy with every touch of the blade to the plastic part)) Even though some parts (mostly parts from the Panther Meng set) have minimal seams from the press-form.
  20. Hi everyone. It is my first experience writing a building history of the scale model. And a small detail - I'm not from an English-speaking country. So if there will any mistakes in my story in English, please correct me. This is a great experience for me). Now the preface to the model. I wanted to make this model since it appeared in the Meng release. Box art is fantastically beautiful. The quality of the meng company is also good. But, I have started the project only now. And I am also planning a diorama for this model - I want to show Jagdpanther in full beauty🎉 Probably this story will not be as fast as possible, but it will be over and the result should be great. 🏗️ Materials that I will use: ⚡Meng TS-039 (Jagdpanther Ausf.G1) ⚡VoyagerModel PE 35955 ⚡Set of resin equipment from Aliexpress From this set (TS-039), you can build 4 different versions of jagdpanther. I immediately decided that I would build the fourth option. For some reason, I liked it the most. To begin with a nice photo of the construction set) : 💥 I hope, this story will be interesting.
