  1. The Avia S-199 finally assembled and primed to hunt some surface mistakes. Minimal filler used on the wings leading edges and on the nose area. The kit engineered really well, the building phase went without problems. If #eduardmodels will release 109 kits like this in the future I think we will be very satisfied.
  2. I don't fully understand myself, but this machine has always been on my list. A strange 109. I especially like the interesting role of the former German-Czech military technology in Israel. The model is fairly new, very nice and extremely detailed. Basically we get a modified G Messser with bump propeller and ugly nose. The parts were an exact fit during dry fitting. This is where I am with it so far:
  3. Fantastic finish, really like the atmosphere of you scene. Totally agree with your opinion on the over-engineered kits.
  4. Thank you! I really like the "jewelry box" charm of the 1/72 ww1 era planes.
  5. I have been working on the Eduard 1/72 Fokker D.VII for a few days on a variant made by Ostdeutsche Albatros Werke (OAW). Very nice little kit, but the Wingnut Wings 1/32 kit guide is a great help in building, which is extremely informative! (Unfortunately, I don't have the the WnW kit, but it can be downloaded from their website.) There has been no problem with the model so far. What I added is part of the trunk’s wire stiffening, which is also visible in the cabin, as well as the visible part of the metal frame structure. It will be the dragon machine, Wilhelm Leusch's Fokker.
  6. I was also done with the Star Destroyer. Bandai, 1: 14500 scale. It had to be sealed here and there, unlike Death Star II. The real challenge is painting, these ships are usually brilliant whites in the movies (except for the Jedi returning from the blue-filtered Battle of Endor). I built the surface from several layers: black primer, Mr.Black Surfacer 1500 thin layer matt white + tamiya xf-19 sky gray darker surfaces, temporary shadows with xf-19 highlight bright panels in matte white dry brushing with white artificial oil. Well, nothing of that seems obvious, but I hope you like it.
  7. It only took a few days of construction and painting to have a cheeky little table decoration. Bandai boxed the Death Star II with a Star Destroyer, originally I wanted to build the warship, but the superweapon got me. It can be put together in just half an hour, I haven't used glue anywhere. Sure, the joints could have been sealed here and there, but I didn’t deal with it. The base color is Tamiya XF-19 sky gray lightened with flat white. I painted the panels with artistic oil, as I could safely wash back on the acrylic base and repair it with thinner. The colors I used: Abteilung snow white + Rembrandt Payne gray. I hope you like it! 🙂
  8. Szia! Köszönöm, biztos vagyok benne, hogy szuper dolgokat fogok itt látni
  9. Hello! This is one of my freshly finished models. My first hungarian plane but not the last at all. The base kit is eduard's wonderful 109G-6 and upgraded it with the BigSin package (DB605 engine, radio compartment, propeller and machine guns, wheels). The resin parts are superb in detail quality but the fit into the fuselage was terrible. It's an eduard product that must fit into an another eduard product...but the reality is that you must forget the instructions and make dozens of dryfits (especially with the engine) or you will mess all of it. A lot more surgery is needed on the base kit to fit the resin into it. But the results are satisfying in my opinion. There are only one photo about this "red 2" Messer, it shows repaired damaged on the left wing painted with RLM02. The paintjob done with Mr. aqueous color acrilycs sprayed with a H&S Evolution 0.2mm. Hope you like it.
  10. It's a wonderful city with lot to see, I hope you will enjoy your stay! Well, the covid has ruined many hobby shops. The Replica still in business, I recommend it for a visit. Replica
  11. Hello! I am an art and history teacher living in the capital of Hungary. My hobby goes all the way back to my childhood (what a surprise) when I got a model of a passenger plane from my dad. I haven’t built an airliner since, but I buried that model in the garden as a small child. I don't know why, there were strange times. What I like most about the hobby is that it meets my favorite activities: creation, history, precision and fantasy. I mostly build airplanes in 1:72 and 1:48 scale, but I also like sci-fi too. A couple of years ago, I mainly built combat vehicles. I compete a lot in Hungary, in 2012 I won the Mosonmagyaróvár Model Competition with a 1: 144 AV-8B HarrierII +. My favorite topics are the Royal Hungarian Air Force in World War II, the Luftwaffe, and the PTO. I'm happy to be here!
