Did you stick the two halves of the nose together first and then attach to the assembled fuselage or individual nose sides to their respective fuselage parts?

Freightdog removes items from their listing rather than mark them as out of stock so it's easily done. It's a great casting but I've done nothing with mine as I've no idea where to source markings.

Yes, very pleased with mine too.
My only reservation initially about the sets was that you use colours at different rates and so accumulate useless pots when restocking. However, you can get individual paints from the Hataka website so not so much an issue. Are there any UK stockists that do this, though?

That's the problem, sourcing the stuff. Tamiya etc is all metric, the 1/4" tape tends to come from the USA with associated postage. Hence most people compromising on 6mm Tamiya tape.
For future reference, multi-engined aircraft had 24" stripes, which scales down to 1/3", which you can't get even from the Land of the Free.

As above, do as you feel like for the nav lights but if you're not going to cut them out I'd say silver rather than red/green.

Absolutely. The ones applied for D-Day itself were apparently applied with yard brooms and all sorts of improvised implements. Bit of a rush job.
