  1. They have, or had...mine arrived last week. Good value too. John.
  2. Did you stick the two halves of the nose together first and then attach to the assembled fuselage or individual nose sides to their respective fuselage parts? John.
  3. Lovely. Wish I'd made the effort to get to Aldi now. John.
  4. If you do decide to replace the wheels, these Freightdog ones are the pick of the bunch in my view. John.
  5. Excellent! I have a couple of these and welcome tips on how to build them. John.
  6. Agree with the posts referred to above. Not Airfix's finest hour but looks good when finished. John.
  7. PC10. I painted my S.E.5a in it and was quite pleased with the result. John.
  8. Freightdog removes items from their listing rather than mark them as out of stock so it's easily done. It's a great casting but I've done nothing with mine as I've no idea where to source markings. John.
  9. I've had one of these for a while, it's intended for the Airfix kit. Is this just a reissue or redone for AZ, Eduard or similar? John.
  10. Yes, very pleased with mine too. My only reservation initially about the sets was that you use colours at different rates and so accumulate useless pots when restocking. However, you can get individual paints from the Hataka website so not so much an issue. Are there any UK stockists that do this, though? John.
  11. That's the problem, sourcing the stuff. Tamiya etc is all metric, the 1/4" tape tends to come from the USA with associated postage. Hence most people compromising on 6mm Tamiya tape. For future reference, multi-engined aircraft had 24" stripes, which scales down to 1/3", which you can't get even from the Land of the Free. John.
  12. As above, do as you feel like for the nav lights but if you're not going to cut them out I'd say silver rather than red/green. John.
  13. Ah, of course, thanks. Being daft. I guess it's for IPMS members only though. John.
  14. Thanks, Paul. Which book is that please? John.
  15. It helps in that I'm wondering if a yellow one would be the way forward
  16. Absolutely. The ones applied for D-Day itself were apparently applied with yard brooms and all sorts of improvised implements. Bit of a rush job. John.
  17. Yes, it would have been too good to be true.
  18. I don't suppose they do 0.33" for multi-engined aircraft?
  19. Me too. I haven't got round to getting hold of 1/4" tape, which would be spot on. Assuming my maths is correct... John.
  20. Phew. Wish my modelling disasters would cure themselves.
  21. Great photos there, gents! Of no particular relevance to the actual question, the 211 Squadron site has some interesting Blenheim pages. Here's the one on Blenheim armament. Apologies if you've already seen it. John.
