  1. Not sure that “rather annoyingly” is the phrase I would have used. 😟 Admirable restraint from your good self. I guess the leg is too thin to get a brass pin in there?
  2. You’ve done this kit proud Heather, has to be one of my favourite 1940 builds. The spayed on markings really make a difference. Impeccable write-up too. Great stuff!
  3. Now that’s what I call a brilliant model…. Really, absolutely superb work Libor! You should be very proud of what you have achieved!
  4. Quite the triumph Heather! A great advert for the paint-your-own method; I’m convinced!
  5. Very interested in this one, sorry these two, sure you’ll make a grand job of both! I’ll tag along if that’s OK. 🧐 Much to learn.
  6. Bill, my vote goes to anti-flash white. While I’m here, and in anticipation of a beautiful build, can I plead for a finished photo next to your wondrous TSR2?
  7. Andy, good luck with your modelling ‘restart’, hope all goes well wit it. I was born and grew up near Wolverhampton, so always had a soft spot for the Defiant, great to see another build of it underway!
  8. Love the Draken and this is a beauty, great stuff Adrian.
  9. You’ve made a smashing job of it Alistair. The scheme is gorgeous too!
  10. Well I like it too, a pretty cool looking machine! More importantly, glad to read that your feeling a bit better. (Entirely selfish of me, I really miss your modelling wizardry when you are not at the bench….)
  11. Superb result Paul! The figure is a great touch, as you say it gives a sense of scale, which this aircraft really needs so we all appreciate just how tiny it is!
  12. Always amazed how much progress you make in a single day…. and quality work too!
  13. Wonderful work Putty! Wish you could see the broad smile on my face, your builds always give me a lift!
  14. I forgot to say, my favourite bit is the scratch built exhaust, and it’s mounting brackets, quite superb.
  15. Wunderbar! Another wonderful build Giampiero, great subject too!
  16. I will follow along too, Pat, if I may? Gorgeous aircraft - hope you enjoy being out of your comfort zone!
  17. Happy birthday kidda, ‘ave a good ‘un. Hope your good lady is on the mend.
  18. As it’s you, I imagine that spinner spiral was hand painted? Don’t know how you do it…..
  19. Anyone can drop an aerosol can on to their almost finished build from a great height, but not everyone can stay calm, think it through and get it all fixed! Here endeth today’s lesson.
  20. Thanks Adrian. Joining BM has opened my eyes to what’s possible, with a bit of work and imagination, and it’s fun too! Thanks Celestial! It’s a beautiful aircraft in a lovely scheme, which helps a lot! Fair play to Special Hobby, it’s a lovely kit, much better than I expected.
  21. Thanks David. It’s a real pity they didn’t include the option of a single piece all-in-one canopy. I would have loved the kit even more if they had! Hope to see your completed build on here soon!
