  1. Lovely job there Roger, very smart! A Happy New Year to you and yours
  2. That’s a great out-of-left-field choice Adrian, I hope it all goes well!
  3. I really like your painting style Stef, particularly on the grey Stug and Marder. For two notionally monochrome schemes they really draw the eye in for a closer look. Really impressive!
  4. Hamfisted or not, these are fabulous models! Great stuff Callum, hope to see more in 2024!
  5. Marvellous painting Giampiero, truly you are the master of the hairy stick!
  6. No signs of a fight that I can see; a testament to your skills Marcel! Great work!
  7. Don’t you find that it tends to crumble a bit when re-scribing?
  8. Super work here Johnny! I’m prone to sneaking a look at my day’s modelling progress - if things have gone well - just before turning in; That warm fuzzy feeling ! Intrigued by the Booney Pie, I’m Black Country myself (Willenhall) but I’ve not heard of it.
  9. I’m very much a stroller myself Bertie, but one in awe of those with the skills to build at “blitzen” speed. Enjoying your thread, and your sprinting!
  10. Tagging along Neil, if that’s OK? Fabulous start!
  11. Having marvelled at your completed builds, I am really looking forward to following this one from the very start!
  12. Looks fabulous Ian, you’ve done a grand job there. Silver swordfish are my preferred finish, so this is right up my street!
  13. Good luck with the fix. To my limited knowledge, the oval knock-out panel was used on the early flat-sided, convex-topped canopy. BM is not short of Spitfire experts, I’ve no doubt someone will know!
  14. You’ve made a smashing job of this Mark, really great. Glad to see all the extra work on the interior paid off. I shall look forward to the RFI !
  15. I know you’ve not enjoyed this build, but it’s looking really good from here! I love the little canopy window, how did you glue it in place (as you can still see through it, no glue “smudge” trapped behind it)?
  16. Only one piece to report on… but beautifully done!
  17. Four months well spent, that’s a fabulous build! Congratulations!
  18. @MACALAIN @tomkil @Winenut Thank you all for the comments. I fancy building a few more French inter-war types, they have so much character!
  19. @greggles.w Thanks for the kind comments! I am following your Ambrosini build with great interest, you are doing some wonderful work there!
  20. Thanks for that - I will give it a go!
  21. Well you may call it just a palate cleanser, for me it’s a little beauty!
  22. It looks OK and some! Lovely little details, makes such a difference to a build.
  23. @cpoud117 @Epeeman @Mig88 Thank you for the comments! I can easily get drawn in to adding lots of extra detail, I find it difficult to stop, even though I’d like to get started on a new model! But I’m having fun so that’s all that really matters. This KP kit certainly had a few issues that needed dealing with, but I would happily start another of their range if I liked the the look of the aircraft.
