First of all thanks for letting me join this forum. It looks really impressive with lots of knowledge and real works of art on display! I am Will from Antwerp in Belgium, father of 3 lovely children and husband to 1 lovely wife. Big part of my childhood free time was around modelling with a room filled with electric trains and scenery. Then later on my interest turned to world war 2 dioramas with the fantastic releases and magazines of fellow countryman François Verlinden and Verlinden Productions. Like many I did not have the time, nor space anymore in my early twenties and thirties to build dioramas as we were focusing on the career and building a family. Now about 20 years later I re-discover some free time and find myself in a bigger house with a spare hobby room to take up again my passion for ww 2 dioramas (and my other passion, subbuteo). I have been collecting a huge amount of models the last few months, up to a point it is probably starting to become problematic as my hobby room can rival the offering of many model shops 🤭 I particulary did my best in stocking up on Verlinden ww2 figures from second hand markets and from some shops that surprisingly still had some stock and I also felt in love with the Eduard models, especially the limited editions... Anyway, I am all set to pick up where I left off and start on some new work which I hope to share with you soon. Cheers, Will
