Cracking build, love the chipping, are they the kit tracks? And how did you paint them?

Hi All, this is my Kinetic M109A2. Kit is ok, detail is a bit soft in places, I replaced the tracks with AFV club workable ones, but that was mainly due to me messing up the kit ones!! Its painted with AK Interactive Modern US Vehicles and Vallejo. Enjoy the pics.

Cracking build, just a small point and correct me if I,m wrong but I thought the central doors on a mustang were closed on the ground.........they open during the retract sequence and close again when the wheels are up. Not meant in any way to be a criticism.

Thanks for all the replies, I have been thinning with distilled water, but also spray both Tamiya and Xtralix in the same session so maybe I,m getting some residue, I do thin the Tamiya with its own thinner. I usually thin at a ration of 70/30 (paint/water), Maybe I,ll persevere it does seem like good paint.

Hi All, has anyone used Lifecolour paint in an airbrush? and if so are there any special precautions to take etc.........I have the Lifecolour NATO Colours set which I am trying to spray through an Iwata Revolution Airbrush, everytime and I mean everytime, they clog the airbrush!!! Now I regulary spray Tamiya, xtralix, Gunze with no problems at all, then in goes the lifecolour and two minutes later its clogged and needing a full stripdown..........grateful for any suggestions.

Not sure if this is the right forum, just noticed that Hannants are listing loads of Academy as "Limited Availability" saying they are not getting anymore stock, are Academy in trouble? or are Hannants just dropping them, anyone heard anything? Cheers Mark
