  1. After every landing if there was a crosswind. Binbrook was the only camp I went to where we had a dedicated wheel change team on the line and they were kept busy!
  2. tc are you a member of English Electric Lightning Association Facebook page, as I'm sure they would love to see the photos of your Lightning.
  3. They will probably appear from Syart Decals in due course. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwi-jtbM8O3NAhWGxxQKHTAzB6EQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.syhartdecal.fr%2FENG_index.htm&usg=AFQjCNHhk-nzTCSKQiSeKFfb-YNgTGoAIQ
  4. UK F-4 Phantom airframe stencils in 1/48.
  5. Xtradecal did a 1/48 USAFE sheet that included Woodbridge/Bentwaters A-10's but it is now out of print. The 1/48 Italeri A-10 (first boxing) has got decals for Alconbury based aircraft included.
  6. A Russian Knights SU-27 has crashed near Moscow with the pilot reported as sadly killed. An F-5E of the Patrouille Suisse has crashed at Leeuwarden with early reports stating that the pilot ejected.
  7. Hasegawa produced two variations to the standard A-7D kit, the one I mentioned above and another (PT47) that contained parts to build either an A-7D or an A-7E. The Bicentennial kit should have been investigated by trading standards as the box photo showed a full bomb load but none were included in the kit.

  10. I hope its just a change of work clothing for you Speedy.
  11. Excellent build. I saw the Vikings many times, including a display at Portland Navy Base where they did an overshoot of the runway, which was only 200ft long and we were parked right next to it with no fence to separate us. Spectacular stuff.
  12. Three airframes less than they currently have. (29 Squirrel/6 Griffin).
  13. I'll miss the Squirrels and Griffins flying low over our house. I'm not sure these new choppers will have the same impact as a Griffin at 50ft.
