Hi all, Recently bought the AK matte varnish, I'm having trouble airbrushing it. Tried x20a thinner and water but the airbrush splutters with either mix and the application is very pebbly, I'm thinning about 50/50. Any tips?

Hello All, Straight out of the box using Tamiya acrylics, hope you like it:

MLT has been advertised as working very well with Tamiya acrylics (which it does) that's why I started using it in the beginning. Oops if I double registrated I didn't intend to do that.

Been using MLT with Tamiya acrylics for a while and just thought of this: is mixing MLT with Tamiya acrylics just pushing them in the realm of lacquers (regarding fumes and toxicity)? Any consideration regarding waste disposal vs acrylics + alcohol based thinners? Fire hazard? Disclaimer: I've always used a respirator and spray booth when airbrushing.
