  1. Thanks for the welcome. I have tried airbrushing the mix, with a badger 105 0.3mm needle, at the 60:40 ratio. Sprayed quite well... for the first few seconds, surprisngly good coverage, no spiderwebbing but tip dry and clogging was a big issue. Even with some slow dry i don't think its really useable. Good news seller is going to replace the paint and contact the manufacturer.
  2. Hello all newbie here and in need some help to determine what im doing wrong with Lifecolor paints. First off, I ordered a bunch of lifecolor paints from airbrushes.com 2 months ago but only got round to using them yesterday. Started with a rotbraun RAL8012 the pigment has settled to the bottom and the paint is blue, it mixes back to the color it should be but doesn't stay that way for long. I've only used tamiya/mr hobby paints before and never had issues with seperation so I've got no clue if this is normal for lifecolor or not. [Picture is of rotbraun straight after it was opened for the first time]. Secondly, after mixing rotbraun with lifecolor brand thinner at a ratio of about 60:40, the paint starts seperating immediately once its stopped stiring, in a few minutes its quite noticeable as the paint has big streaks of blue in it. Again, this is normal for lifecolor or the paint is no good?
