Good evening to all those reading. I have recently got myself back into the hobby after a few years of life getting in the way... Armed with my Iwata Neo, i have really enjoyed getting back into airbrushing unfinished projects in the dark evenings from Strike Eagles to Railway Kit Builds, Cambrian at that! Chuffed with the results after so long without practise, and will upload my results to the relevant section in the coming days. I opted to purchase a second-hand compressor and managed to pick up a 'Fengda FD-186' at a reasonable price. Perfect for what i needed, i hadn't previously owned one with a tank so this was nice to get to grips with. All has been well over the last few weeks until yesterday evening... midway through a session (20mins max) the compressor decided it didn't want to fire up again leaving me without any pressure. Since that moment it will not start up, i have tested the fuse on the plug and checked all relevant wires for damage to no avail, there is power to the unit as the on/off button is illuminated. I'm left baffled as to what has happened and was wondering if anyone else on here has had similar issues? If anyone could point me in the right direction for a fix (if there is one) that would be much obliged. Thank you kindly.
