  1. Thanks for the tip and i've finally checked the FAQ on posting photos will be looking into it on my down time and it looks like photo hosting is becoming more of a paid service so much fees already in our daily life already like Taxes, and parking fines. But i've checked out some of your warship work and it's interesting to see how this hobby can be so artistic, keep it going friend!
  2. Good spot!, i do wonder if there is a real/replica Curtis P40 in Australia to have a look in a museum or so. It would be a good little getaway vs watching grass grow in your backyard.
  3. Hello Peers! Just like to say HELLO from the colony! I have to admit that this is the first forum i've ever joined and being a Gen Y. It feels like forum days have come and gone, since everyone just Youtubes and Reddits everything these days. So.... great to be a part of a pack sharing something in common. I have just recently started with scale modelling, a decision i made when i got diagnosed with Depression 😢 . Not bragging about it but it did creep up on me silently and gave me 'Panic Attacks' as a gift. Which scared the crap out of me from everyday life ! This is such a fun hobby i've discovered with the nightly "me" time therapy to unwind (could also be the enamel thinner). My start is focusing on 1/72 scale WW2 warbirds from Airfix as they are great for value. Along with a set of Primary and Secondy colours from the Vallejo Model Color range, my dive into colour theory. Something i discovered to do as the paints that came in those Airfix starter sets are 95% dried up. I have just completed the P40 Warhawk starter where i've leanrt so much like "what is paint" and tested everything from colours i've mixed myself, thin and thick coats, decals on matt surfaces, home made enamel panel lining on unvarnished surfaces and chipping everywhere like on areas that doesn't make sense LOLz. Trial and error was half the fun! Currently working on the Mitsubishi A6M Zero. mixed a very nice green to my perspective and who knew to make a darker green you'll need to mix some opposite colours to increase warmth and not just throw in black (noob) Hope keep this hobby going and to make enough of these for my current 2 yr old. To be able to hang up in his room when he grows up depicting the Battle Of Britain, Midway, North Africa campaigns and etc. Looking forward to learning more from all and contribute to this classic hobby. Next thing is to figure out how to post images, can't wait to have my work critisized! Thanks All
