  1. Making slow progress on this, the's a lot of flash to clean uparound the joint molds, also it looks like the undercarraige & gear doors are designed to be retractable. The's a glaring discrepancy in the instructions where I've highlighted...Not putting too much work into this, but hoping on a fairly nice end result...
  2. Nice work so far, incidentally the Face Screen pull handle on the ejection seat is painted red,as with those seats the is a safety pin fitted to the Face Screen firing handle & Seat pan one... http://www.hawkerhunter.com/2954/ http://www.jetartaviation.co.uk/what-we-do/ejection-seats/
  3. I've got Dave Parkins conversion kit,it'll be interesting to see if bits fit the Revell one..
  4. They also do a very good TERMA pod for the GR4,got me a couple of them.. http://www.larsenal.com/catalogue/index.php?id_page=6&id_article=1646&ars8213112107=ars8213112107
  5. Better stock up on aftermarket decals then....
  6. I like big puppies.....more to cuddle... TAXI!
  7. You know,I cannot recall ever seeing a GR1a armed with anything other than sidewinders & CBLS panniers but they still woild have carried bombs if called for, because even tho recon was their main role, they were still a bomber aircraft as well as a nuclear strike aircraft,
  8. It's a lot more complicated than that depending in the mark of the seat, for example, the Mk10 seats also have arm restraints that clip onto the crews life vests, you also have straps that connect the crew to the PSP that they sit on as well.
  9. A chap here on BM made a DJRP pod in 1/48,I got one for my Herrick Harrier,TERMA,i don't think there is.
  10. Of which Hobbyboss screwed up big time! I don't put weapons on my RAF jets unless they are from an operational theatre or training sortie as it'd be innacurate
  11. Answered in the thread on ARC,Airwaves do an Photo etched set for the Italeria & Airfix cockpit's,I have both.If you can get hold of an old italeri cockpit,it will fit in the airfix kit as I've done it before.
  12. Now dont be trashy,we've all bin there..... Pass my coat,I'm off on a FOD PLOD...
  13. Problem with your argument is the Tornado has carried that many types of weapons over the years, that to provide the complete weapons options for them all would be a kit in itself, bearing in mind that we (RAF) & Saudi use different weapons & carriage systems than other countries.
  14. Surely the left arm & wrist should be cocked, singing "I'm a little teapot"...??
  15. But didn't Toom's rename everything a SUU tho...
  16. Photo's & Build up here; http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234957244-lindberg-f8-j-crusader-firepower-series/
  17. Quick build, straight outta the box apart from an aftermarket seated pilot to replace the aweful kit ones! It's basic & showing it's age.... The kit; The Growbag...
  18. Oh you'd be surprised how thick the growbags can really be!....
  19. Welll.......the were a few bombs dropped in pairs, nothing wrong with that you say,but they were still attached to the TSC when they hit the desert....
  20. Think it's best to wait until someones got their mitts on it & built it before we start picking holes in something that's not even out yet.The delays might mean they've discovered faults & are rectifying them before release.
  21. I think we all remember some of the crew snags in the 700... Pilot; "Pilots wander lamp not working" Lekkie' "Switch lamp to 'on'" For example...
  22. 1000lb bombs fitted with slick or retarded tail units, carried in 4's or 8's,when used with a TSC (Twin Store Carrier),BL755 CBU's carried in 4's,Before the Gulf War,the wasn't many jets that had the centerline pylon fitted,so the was only the 2 outer Shoulder pylons in use for ordanance,of which these had 3 weapon stations each, the center of which was used for drop tanks or WE-177 nuclear weapons,as well as JP-233. Just before the Gulf War started,31 & 9 sqn were equipped with the ALARM missile, however these could,at the time, only be carried in place of the wing drop tanks,so you saw jets with the drops slung underneath, they then wired the shoulder pylons for ALARM as well as fitting an outer station on the inner wing pylons for an additional ALARM launcher.
  23. IIRC,the was a rectangle of metal that was simply screwed over the slot for the cockpit sweep lever,
