Thanks for the reply! I paint with a brush over airbrushing I have a few Vallejos but want to get a few more rust effects and washes to add a level of detail to my builds!

I just slowly shut the door on them.... Once had a foot in the door to stop me shutting it so i just reopened it and shut it again with a puzzled look on my face until they moved their foot. Next one that comes over im going to try to sell them on pastafarianism and the Church of the flying spaghetti monster Ive even pre printed some flyers that live in the draw next to the front door!

Morning! After a few months out im looking at doing a nostalgia piece and nothing is more nostalgic in my mind than the F14 tomcat. Due to the top gun films and the planes general popularity im assuming there is no shortage in various kits so thought id turn to you lovely knowledgeable people for your recommendations? Scale between the smaller 1/72 up to a 1/48. Also any recommendations on Colour schemes / matching paints as likely to have to buy a few more! Thanks!!!!

Hey everyone. Looking for a rocket to build. Found a Revell 1:144 Saturn V however looks to have mixed reviews. Any suggestions?

Wow! This has put me off 1:72... So fiddly and small. I might need to invest in one of these lights with magnification. How did you all deal with placing the red squares over the gun holes? Assume its easier to buy some paint and to pain rather than try to bend the squares? Are 1:34 models much easier to affix decals to?

Not pedantic at all as a total newbie a really appreciate all of the help everyone here is giving me and the time taken to reply to me! As you said buying a load of 1st time paints like this isnt cheap so i want to make sure I get it right! Looks like the rear underside tail section is painted in 11 silver (going from the rear of the box art) Although looking at pictures of the aircraft they appear to be either black and white/off white or a light green... im yet to see a picture in colour with a silver tail!

Thanks for the advise... I was pricing up some Vallejo but finding matches is proving tough (Should have also noted that im preferring Acrylic over Enamel as enamel gives me a headache!
