  1. thanks Jeroen, I'm sure you will create a beatifull camper in regards of the quality of your previous Samba
  2. thank you for your comments. Time now to declare this build finished! A nice kit easy to build
  3. Hello everybody I hesitate with the Revell kit but I decided to take a more simple kit because it was my first two-colors car and I thought it will be easier with a one piece body. Now the second color is done and the home made decals too. The end is close !
  4. first color is finished : 3 coats of Old racing White. I'm now wainting for a totl dryness before painting the black. Dashboad and the interor are done too.
  5. Hello everybody After an italian little rocket, it's time to start a new project with this VW Combi Van I will try to paint with 2 colors (black and Old British white) and home made decals of our firm. I've plan to lower the suspensions, install Porsche 928 wheels and put a sport exhaust made with Nazca M12 parts. First work of the week-end : lower the suspension which cause me lot of problems. I ve tried to keep the original parts and modify the chassis but after some unsatisfying tries I decided to install two lego parts on which I will glue the wheels. Wheels have been sanded and now I have to paint them. The exhaust system Wheels in place with the lowered suspensions
  6. Hello everybody, I received yesterday my decals sheets, so it was time to finish this A112 Abarth. I'm quite happy with my first decals even if for the rear one, the definition is not good (they are very tiny and I don't have a CAO software, more precisely I have GIMP but I don't understand how it works). Even if they are not precise enough, the job is done and it gives to the Abarth a more genuine look!
  7. Hello everybody Today, as I'm waiting for my decal sheets for the A112 Abarth, come back to a previous build, a Porsche 964 Revell 1/24, a kit I bought in second hand last summer. A good challenge because the car was very badly started with lot of bubbles and thikness on the paint of the body. More over, the car had a little accident with a deformation of the A left pillar due to a long storage in its box (the previous owner bought this kit at the same time he bought a brand new real 964, and wanted to create a twin to his original one.) So big work of soaking and sanding, following by some heating to get a correct and straight body. Finaly, I think the result is quite acceptable Not a big work on the engine because I decided to close the trunk (because one of the hinge was broken) And finally, aclassic choice for the color mix : medium gray for the outside and an interior in light gray. I just added some details as the seat--belts buckles, the handles on the front seat.
  8. Hello everybody I use the Revell paste and I still need to improve my skills, not very satisfied of my work but not a big deal, it's small areas. Some good progresses this week-end, car is almost finished, some details to achieve : Fujimi forget numbers of badges (for the rear trunk and the lateral) so I decided trying to create them, even I have no CAO software ; I'm now waiting for my decal sheets I order this week end. Progresses of the week end : fitting of the body on the frame, the body kit, the lights... and some details paint (red wheels cap, side turn signals, door handle....)
  9. very interesting topic I will follow with pleasure ! The 905 (more precisely all the peugeot Sport cars of the 80's and 90's)) is all my youth
  10. Work of preparation of the bodykit : lot of injection holes and problem of ajustment , so I have to use some mastic but i'm not very good at this game... I think the result is quite good for the front grille to have something ajusted but I'm not sure it will be totally smooth, like for the different injection holes. I have to improve my skills or to change the product I use which is dry very quickly.
  11. Thank you all for your comments. Indeed, it's one of my favorite car even if I prefer the Peugeot 205 (gti and T16). But my teachers didn't have such a car... First because I lived in Paris when I was student so they came by bus/undergroud or feet, and secondly, the one who came by car had very bad taste (I remember my biology teacher always had VW sedans ; jetta (mk1 & 2), vento... not very sexy 😝
