Hi Paul, Looks light aircraft grey to me when compared to the white of the roundel and tail! Also look at the uniformity of the colour down it's entire length then compare it the the aircrafts natural metal finish and the tonal changes where the light is high and low, it looks painted to me and it also looks to dark to be white. If I'm honest Ian I was thinking of the costs to you, afterall what's cheaper these days, a new bumper for a BMW or brest enlargment/reduction surgery????? And yes thinking about it that's an awful lot of resin!!! Doug P.s. And anyway shouldn't the air bags be on the inside of the car???? (I'd change your mechanic if I was you)

by the way Ian you shouldn't get your missus to do the oil change, with her air bags she'll damage your bumper!!! (She'd sell well in resin) Doug

Hi Ian, Are you a company or a manufacturing modeller? I would be interested in seeing some of your products, do you have a web site? only thing I can say is that the GR3 is infact an upgrade of Airfix's original GR1, this means that the GR3 has a solid nose until it gets to the original GR1 nose shape, if you know what I mean, so this may present a problem when trying to mount the replacement nose? Anyway thanks for responding to my question and I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Doug.

Hi everyone, I am wanting to try out some new modelling techniques I have picked up and wish to backdate the Airfix GR3 Harrier to a GR1, apart from the nose, which needs to be replaced or reshaped and the camera added, the tail which requires the removal of the PWR and the reshaping of the tailcone is there anything else I need to look out for. I would also like to hear from anyone who may have carried out this conversion or is thinking of doing so, so if you have or are thinking about it please contact me.
