Awesome, I'm new(ish) to the hobby and feel that a lot of panel lines are too bold and unrealistic. But I do understand that it's a personally choice and interpreted as everyone feels is right for themselves.

That looks great mate. Very impressed. I love the subtlety of the panel lines. How were they done?

Thanks to you all for the warm welcome and advice. A goal of mine is to complete the Tamiya 1/32 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IXc Kit as I have a watch that has recycled parts in it from a MK.IX spitfire that was shot down over Russia in 1945. Serial number PT879 was shot down with only 29 hours flying time, was recovered by a farmer in Russia and eventually was rebuilt in the UK and is now air worthy and flying once more. But before that can happen I know I have a lot to learn and a lot of practice and models to build. So I'll certainly be taking your advice and asking lots of questions. First model I'll be attacking is the Gumman F4F-F Wildcat. Wish me luck. Steve

Hey guys. Just thought I'd introduce myself and say hi. My name is Steve and I am originally from Northampton but now live in Melbourne, Australia. I've recently been given a few model kits of aircraft, paints and a few tools and am eager to start getting back into the hobby after a few years out, probably 25 years in all honesty. So I dare say I'll be asking lots of questions as I'm sure technics, paints and materials will have changed somewhat since I last did a model. So I do consider myself a novice at this point.
