  1. Ciao, I have all the Guardian boxes except the Fire Bomber. I noticed something strange when comparing the photos available online with the pieces provided by Special Hobby. For none of the versions indicated in all the boxes, some pieces belonging to sprues D(6, 7 and 20) and F(3, 7, 8 17, 18, 19) are used. I believe some (F17 and F18) can be used as "later forward mast". While (F3, F7, F8 and F19), I assume they can be used for what looks like a radome above the fuselage. The possible use of the unused D pieces remains a mystery to me. Can anyone help me? Marco
  2. I just found the Mk2 on offer. If you want to get rid of the Mk1, I might be interested. I would like to do one of the exotic versions, Kuwait or Malaysia, so I think this might be the one. The only thing that worries me is the postage for Italy.
  3. Ciao, I would like to buy it, but I'm undecided between the Mk1 and Mk2 version. Could you, please insert the photo of the instruction page where all the sprues are represented. Thank you. Marco.
  4. Ciao, I am also interested in the CS versions of the Crusader, for this reason I might ask you if you have finished your work and if you can give me some advice. In fact I have some difficulty in assigning the registration number for both Mk I CS and Mk II CS. I would prefer to set them in the desert, so the result will be quite different from yours. Kind regards Marco
  5. It seems strange to me, according to the documentation I found the Bu.No. 2531 corresponds to an F4F-3, which is part of block 2512/2538. According to the instruction sheet you have to insert the pieces "N5" and "N25". The first provides the necessary air intakes for versions with intercoolers.
  6. Ciao, I just bought the ProfiPACK box and also 2 Overtrees, so I can use most of the decals. I admit I'm not a Wildcat expert, so it's really hard for me to understand how the six versions provided match Eduard's presentation. Actually, the first version "F4F3 Early" I think may correspond to the first version supplied in the box, the one with the yellow wings. But distinguishing the other five is much more complicated. I assume, but I could be wrong, that the latest version "F4F-3A / Martlet Mk.III", could be the second variant proposed in the box, the all gray one with red crosses. Mine is only a hypothesis, since it is the only version that uses the pieces N24 and N33, but unfortunately, even if you can hardly read, in the decal "20", it is written F4F-3. Too bad, because this could be a Martlet. Can anyone help me to clarify.
  7. Ciao, I'm trying to trace the various versions in use with the Italian Army after the war. In the desert photo, in addition to the M1 USA type wheels, the thing I immediately noticed is the L / 43 short barrel, British Mk II. I thought that the cannons made in the USA all had L / 50 long barrels. Can anyone help me in identifying this version. Marco
  8. I admit that I am not a specialist on British trucks, but only now that I have opened the box I have just bought, I have noticed one thing. It seems very strange to me that there are only 4 wheels and no spare. I don't remember ever having a military truck without a spare wheel, even just to put it on the back with the load. Can anyone help me?
