Hi stef. Can these decals be copied? Where did you get them?

Following this with interest. Im building the 916 1:12 kit from tamiya but i really want to build it as the sps carl fogarty special. Ive got the marso wheels sorted but need carbon detailing and this model had termi pipes. I also need the decal set but cant find it anywhere.

Ive been following this build on an evening whilst feeding the baby. Being new to modelling, this build has set a bar. I very much doubt ill acheive the level of detail ron has but for teaching aid it has been amazing. A master at work. Well done Ron and thankyou for such a well worded build.

Do you have any techniques to share for helicopter detailing?

Has he passed? Thats a loss. I have read many topics and threads of his. Very talented, big loss. Its sad but guys like him hold the treasures of modelling that will be lost in a few years.

Im a big fan of motorsport from mid 70's to early 00's so will be sticking with this genre. That said aviation, particularly helicopters will break this up and be used to develop techniques. Nice to meet you mate

Dipping my toe into modelling and rekindling a hobby from my youth. Im going big, 1:12 as a start with the famous jagermeister 934 kit from tamiya. Ive been reviewing some amazing builds from silver911 and codger for inspiration. Building up my consumables and getting started in new year. Being a mechanical engineer with slight ocd i will be taking my time and will be open to critique.
